It is truly insane to me that the right is now advocating people return to work as quickly as possible. They are asking you to risk your life, and your parents and grandparents lives. And of course, it's not going to be Trump and his cronies risking death. Once again, the poor are stomped under the hell of a jackboot. This kind of runaway capitalism that America manufactured and the rest of the world is taking on, is a death cult. They don't care if you die. I can't understand why any average American can still support this party. They only serve the rich, and yet poor idiots keep voting them in. WTF????

I've noticed that the people who bitch about martial law are the same people who still want to go hang out at a crowded bar, and this is why the government is stepping in and forcing people to stay home. If more people would behave as if they're infected and self isolate, we might be able to beat this thing. But expecting thoughtful, intelligent actions from people who voted for Trump is asking a lot.

Everyone's crying that "this should be free" or "suspend rent payments" until this whole COVID-19 thing blows over. Well, not every landlord is a Donald Trump. In fact, most landlords don't really make much, if any, money from their property. My mom is renting out her house because she relocated for work. But the relocation is only for a few years, so she rented the house with plans to move back in. After expenses (taxes, insurance, etc.), she makes a whopping $100 a month "profit" on her house. One repair, and that money is gone. The bank isn't suspending mortgage payments right now, so guess what? If you suspend rent payments she will lose her house and be ruined. You guys know this is affecting EVERYONE, right? Not paying things may help you, but it's screwing someone else. For some people, that rent may be their only source of income. So when someone doesn't pay rent, they lose that income. It's just shifting the problem to someone else.

Interesting how everybody is freaking out at the guy who bought 20 grand worth of hand sanitizer while Trump bribes a German company for exclusive rights to their potential vaccine. Anyone who complains about price gouging needs to look at big pharma, the biggest price gougers in the world. There was a coronavirus SARS vaccine on the table five years ago but it wasnt considered profitable enough. If you are Republican, you are anti-human, anti-health and general scum.

Trump seriously just talked shit about Obama during the H1N1 scare. Lemme tell ya, during the H1N1 outbreak, there were places all over the city where people go get tested FOR FREE. There was one right in the medical office where I worked. The orange moron called coronavirus a democratic hoax and rejected the tests offered by the WHO, resulting in panic and a full blown epidemic. And still his idiot disciples follow him. Honestly, our species deserves a plague.

Lots of news about how it's so hard to get tested for COVID-19. There aren't even enough tests being made available. CDC guidelines say to only test symptomatic people who have traveled to high-risk countries or been in close contact with someone who has tested positive. Even Trump said in his address today that not everyone should be tested. You know why? Because HE DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW BAD IT IS! He doesn't want to admit he's wrong and f-ed up. There are only about 2,000 cases in the US now, but that number is probably closer to 100,000 according to actual scientists. But you can't have 100K cases if you only test 10K people. So ,see, just like Trump said, it's not that bad and everyone that has it got it from somewhere else. He has passed asshole status and is just a monster at this point. A lot of people are going to die because of his ego.

The only good thing that may come out of COVID-19 is that it may cost Trump the election.

Oh and in addition the media fuels this Millennials and Zoomers Vs. Boomers and Gen X narrative, so it becomes convenient to scapegoat people when things go wrong. How many times did you hear, "Latinos are responsible for Trump!" "White women voted for Trump!" Now you're hearing that actual progressives are responsible for splitting the democratic vote or that older black voters are responsible for Biden. So we all end up hating and blaming each other while the government pats its big corporate buddies and Wall Street friends on the back as they get back to messing with people's mortgages, lives and retirement. Normally I stay away from the wildest conspiracies, but this is kind of all plainly out there to see to the point it's hidden in plain sight.
