Mother's Day is right around the corner! We're having the family over and this year we're having a healthy meal. Besides the wine of course. Grilled chicken and shrimp. Grilled vegetables (zucchini, asparagus, peppers, onions and mushrooms). Quinoa salad. Mixed green salad. Fruit salad (cut up fruit, no whipped cream or anything, we don't like it like that) for dessert. Dh is buying a badminton set. I'm worried it will rain. If it rains we won't be able to play badminton, we'll have to stay inside and play scrabble or trivial pursuit. I told dh no flowers. I want a new bird feeder.

I went from 15.75 to 14 as an admin (two different jobs). My current boss thinks he pays me too much money, so he makes me do the work of 4 people to "make up" for how much he agreed to pay me.

How do I tell my boss he doesn't pay me enough for this newest venture he wants me to pursue? I was hired as an admin. I put up with it quietly when he assigned my to another department, as well as all my admin duties. Now he wants me to train to be an osha certified safety trainer/manager for the whole company. But I'm not losing any other responsibility and there won't be any pay change. I am just barely scraping the normal admin pay around here.

Reading a job advert and the words "open place office" caught my eye and I immediately wanted to run away screaming. Alas I continued reading to see what other horrors were in store; the thought of being "responsible for all filing" definitely made me shudder. #AdminLife

The admin on the FB page probably wont accept a seemingly fake profile because some user's personal information has been brought over here. I think they are trying to avoid that from happening. Joining the group with a profile pic and actual page makes it more comfortable for others who share personal info in the group. I know I have seen one user attacked here with information that was only shared on the FB page. :/

Sometimes I meet men, and there is this kind of chemistry - but more like pheromones, I'm guessing. Does this happen to anyone else: that you meet someone, and don't even talk to them yet, but there's this attraction, and I have no desire to act on it, but there's something I feel - again, I haven't talked to them so its not a crush, but some energy. It could be a crush later if we talk and stuff. But I always wonder what it is - like, is it "matching" body types, or similar level of attractiveness, and I wonder if the guy feels it too? Its not that strong, its like my body is just acknowledging attraction, but its not that strong that I'd get nervous to talk to him or something. Its kinda cool and kinda weird - anyone? My job is trying to push me and my co-worker (the only two office admin and the only females) out the door. Harrassment, accusing us of breaking rules, forging signatures, etc. Neither of us has been able to find another position. I feel like this is wrong. So wrong. We don't have an hr department or anything to report this to, and I'm pretty sure it isn't technically illegal since we're a hire at will state.
