I don't like people, dogs or clothes. I guess that about covers it. (Jk about dogs)

I don't understand the question. If I go to someone's house and they don't own a single book, they're not my kind of people. If you're an ignorant TS you're not my kind of people. If you have a gun collection and you don't hunt, you're probably not my type of people. If you're proudly uneducated you're probably not my kind of person. If you think it's cool to own dangerous dogs you're not my kind of person.

I think Gauge (or is it Gage?) is one of those trendy names that gives away your socioeconomic and cultural status. Are Gauge's parents well educated? Worldly? They also own a pit bull. The majority of the owners of pits and similar breeds are typically from certain stratum of society or are once removed from those specific subcultures. I wouldn't let my child play at a house with certain breeds of dogs not just because I think (proven statistically) they are more dangerous, but I think (just intuition, a personal prejudice maybe) that the owners would not be "our kind" of people.

I ordered doggie stairs for my geriatric dogs. I am seriously going mental with their health issues. Yesterday I went downstairs and left the little dog on the bed and she tried to jump off and hurt her leg. She's not limping around today, but she could easily have really hurt herself. Then the other dog peed as he walked down the carpeted stairs. It is a bitch to shampoo carpeted stairs. I bought them a bunch of new squeak toys and have been really making an effort to play with them everyday so they stay mentally active, not just physically active. I also ordered a cream and sugar bowl because I don't have one and just put the creamer out in the little carton and the sugar in the big canister. They're really cute. They have birds on them.

Today is day 3 that I haven't showered. All I want to do is sleep in my bed or on my couch. Dh is no help. I'm hanging by a limb. I haven't started job hunting either. I've cancelled my dogs check up and cancelled the cable appointment. I'm failing at life.

I don't have a dog but my dad does. A big, awkward hound, omg he is the cutest, most wonderful pup. My dad already spoils the shit out of him, we all do. He's an older rescue who was hard to place but my dad has a fenced in acre so he can run around. I am a cat person but I also love dogs. I am bipetsual, lol

I love my dog too! Especially after getting back from watching my parents' 3 yippy little unhousebroken dogs. I came home to my nice, quiet, sweet, potty-trained doggy.

I hear you! I love my dogs. I mean, I just love them. Even when they're being annoying I think they're the cutest.

My mom and my older sister frequently don't get along but my mom still favors her. Part of the reason I rarely visit my parents is the fact that they think she shits rainbows and always compared me to her. Even now, I've been out of their house for 12 years and my sis still lives at home with her kids, making poor financial and life decisions. She makes enough money to live on her own but she spends her paychecks the day she gets them on tattoos, pets (just saw on fb that she got a kitten even though she neglects her 3 dogs) and at walmart. Plus, instead of kicking her out or enforcing any rules, my mom just prefers to complain about her when I do come over.

I don't have a therapist at the moment, which stinks because I am seriously stressed and I could really use an open ear and mind to vent to. Dh listens, but he truly does not understand depression and anxiety. He doesn't understand that when I get like this I'm exhausted. I'm not sleeping hours a day because I'm lazy, but because my head is a mess and I'm hiding from myself. Taking a shower and brushing my teeth can feel like I'm climbing a mountain. I think it's a combination of the weather, my job, studying for boards, trying to get healthy, my sick dogs, etc. To really add icing to the cake dh fucked up his knee and has to have surgery on Friday.
