I've had a long anxiety ridden week, which includes having my mailbox broken into. I go to YouTube to relax with some entertaining videos, and the first thing I see in my feed 'Man Shits in Police Car'. I think I need to reevaluate my life decisions and what has led me to this moment.

Since when was Mark Fuhrman ever NOT a racist. He's about as racist as they come. He admitted to leaving the military because he didn't like (insert racist term here). He also admitted to beating, choking and abusing suspects he arrested and actually attempted to leave the police force an a disability pension (because of stress) because he was afraid he'd kill someone. He's been divorced three times and he was convicted of perjury. Yeah, he's a real winner.

Neighbors dogs were barking (though mine weren't, which is weird). Someone was peering over my gate in the alley and took off when I went to see what was going on. Obviously suspicious activity. A neighbor told me a while ago that someone was scoping out the vacant houses on her street, along the same alley so I called the non-emergency police line. Which is the wise and mature thing to do. Not like when I was 16 and some idiot broke my dad's car window in an attempt to steal and I hopped in my car and chased the fuckers a few miles before they hopped over a block wall and vanished into thin air. Or when I shot someone who was attempting to steal from my yard, also when I was young and stupid, with a paintball gun. I kind of want to ride my bike and patrol the area but know that's not a good idea. My neighborhood used to be so quiet but it's turning to shit. Thieves piss me off to no end.

A lawyer's job is to make sure everyone gets a fair trial. If there were "technicalities" then than means he wasn't getting a fair trial. As much as we may hate that people get off on those things, it is a necessary check and balance to prevent innocent people from going to jail and prevent police and prosecutors from breaking the law more than they already do. I would rather people "get off" on them than have a system without those checks and balances. I may be in the minority, but I don't think the boyfriend is a bad guy for upholding someone's constitutional right.

Dear family, future-in laws/family, friends, co-workers, wedding vendors and random strangers; the next person who a) says I can't be a bride with short hair b) asks when I'm buying a wig c) asks what kind of extensions I'm getting d) or otherwise mentions my short hair in a negative way in regards to me getting married is going to get punched in the face. I have had a pixie cut for 11 years. My fiancé has only known me with short hair and he likes my haircut (and doesn't police my appearance). A pixie cut makes me look like myself. I would look completely strange with long hair, not to mention that wigs and extensions get hot and heavy and both cost a fortune for good quality ones that don't look fake. We are on a budget and want our wedding to be calm and simple. I'm 29 years old and no one is forcing me to have long hair like when I was a child. I'm an adult and it's my hair. The next person who says a word about this will be uninvited to the wedding. Thank you and have a nice day.

My SS16 threatened to kill me, my dd11 and our dd2 on social media, at a family gathering and on homework assignments at school. DH had him go live at his grandmothers house after that. But only a month later Dh started whining about how it wasn't fair to keep him out of our lives and how he must be suffering. I told him he could visit his son as much and whenever he wants, even spend the weekend with him at a hotel, but if he tried to bring him back to our house he could find an apartment to live with SS until he's 18. I don't get how these men can't take these things seriously, if dd or I made threats police would be called with dire consequences, but when a step child does it, it's okay and we need to learn to be more understanding. He's been suspended for threatening to blow up his school and hit a teacher with a bat. If SS is here I will not sleep and the other kids will be in my room door locked while I point something at the door.

I was sat in my house today minding my own business on my day off work and the door opens...I got a fright as no one due home yet...Next thing I know my stepson is standing in my bedroom SCREAMING at me that he wants to see his dad. He'd have known his dad wasn't in as only my car outside so I told him he wasn't welcome in here (he's known this for a very long time ) and he was to leave. He refused to go and told me this was HIS HOUSE?? My house my dear..it's my name on the deeds! He called me a bitch and a cow and at this point i walked him down the stairs while he's threatening me that I am "going to be sorry", started grabbing things and throwing them at me and then I pushed him out the door. He kicked my front door opened again and my hand was still on it so my wrist is all bruised. He stood outside screaming horrible things at me, so I dialled 999 and the police have came and lifted him.

Ds/15 was telling me how one of his friends from elementary school just came back to school after being on independent study for 2 years or so. This friend was in a gas station store and a policeman walked in. Kid says, "F the police!" Policeman asks him to step outside and talk to him. Kid doesn't comply and starts fighting/hitting the policeman! If my ds ever thought about fighting/hitting a police officer, I'd fully support the officer slapping the hell outta my ds and taking him to juvy/jail. Friend is in juvy. The confrontation is on video too. A lot of kids nowadays are selfish, entitled, little creeps with no home training!

How do you tell your boss that you don't appreciate their lack of regard for your personal safety? My office is in a less than ideal neighborhood and there has been increasing violence in the last few weeks. We have had to have the police cone and patrol to try and help our clients feel safe. However, once the the clients leave for the day, but not the employees, the request for patrols is over. So we need to keep the clients safe, totally agree with this BTW, but not the employees?!? I don't want to be attacked or shot trying to do my job or leave for the day. She laughed when I told her this.

Tired of tv hosts who kids the butts of teachers, police, firefighters, military, etc. They get treated like they're God. What about the rest of us who have normal jobs, Don't we count?
