I really think some indictments are going to come down on the Trump clan soon. Like before the November election. New York's got a pretty good tax/insurance fraud case against them, and a lot of high-ranking officials in the Trump organization have already been indicted. The beauty is that Trump Jr and Ivanka are implicated as well. The delay has been that Team Trump has ignored a court order to turn over documents. They now have, and I think that's all NY was waiting for.

The "reddist" tenth of the US saw COVID death rates 6 times higher than the "bluest" tenth. Counties where Trump received more than 70% of the vote experienced an even higher average of Covid-19 death. By contrast, Covid-19 deaths in heavily Biden counties and swing counties did not rise over the past two months, despite the nationwide surge in cases. Article was from December 17, 2021, so pretty recent. Honestly, just let these people die, so the rest of us can stop dealing with this shit.

Called mom to tell her about my grandma's recent fall. She quickly changes the subject to the Afghanistan situation, cries, cusses at me, flips me off because I voted for Biden. I kept calm because I knew for a fact she was drunk, I didn't tell her about the 5,000 Taliban soldiers released last year or the deals that were made under the former administration because she wasn't in the head space to even listen. "Call me when you're sober and calm." She hangs up on me and is now on FB giving a tirade and putting up "Bring back Trump" posts. She keeps sending me emotional tiktoks. Maybe it's time to distance myself from the circus.

Is Trump really going to blame Biden for Afghanistan when he released thousands of prisoners including the new Taliban member who has decided he is the new leader of the country? Don't get me wrong, I do think the Biden administration is pretty incompetent and have done a lot to make the situation worse, but there's a difference between incompetence and just an entire fucking shitshow like Trump. Also, when the US government going to fucking learn that every time they interfere with these countries, they leave things worse off? Anyone would think they're destabilizing that area of the world deliberately .... perish the thought.

I thought I'd never hear a "solution" so absurd as Trump's UV and bleach insertion covid cure until the new UK climate minister suggested we can save the planet by not rinsing our dishes "before we put them in the dishwasher." Sure Jan. I also heard we can cure all the cancer by taking some aspirin.

This is not directed at anyone here. I haven't even read any confessions in months but came here solely to post this. And I'm not sure how much good this will do, but I'm going to try anyway. At least Biden isn't trying to take away my healthcare, make it harder for me to vote, or raise my taxes (Trump's plan raised taxes on everyone making $75K+. Goes into effect in 2021. And I don't make $400K).
