It depends on the context whether the term "libs" is offensive or not. Now, I've seen the term "libtard" and that's offensive on so many levels. It used to be that liberal and conservative were terms that didn't have negative connotations. Now they BOTH do. I think it's because the far right and the far left are both nucking futs, and they still use those terms to describe themselves. It's inaccurate, but it is what it is. Maybe along with the destruction of the middle class came the destruction of political moderates. And the ones that are left? Well, they're not loud, obnoxious, or outright crazy enough to even be heard. They're the ones we should be listening to. But hey, Trump's going to make America great again, right? *eyeroll*

This is what's destroying America. Uneducated people who think their beliefs, which are completely illogical, uneducated, and steeped in egomaniacal judgement, give them the right to take away fundamental human rights. America will be great when people are educated enough to use their critical thinking skills, instead of relying on politicians to tell them what to believe. What's really sad about the original post is that it was probably made by a woman.

I think a lot of people just recently figured out that Puerto Rico is part of the USA and that the people from PR are American citizens.

The racists in a Mississippi school have pulled To Kill a Mockingbird from their curriculum because it makes them uncomfortable. Welcome to Trump's America, everyone. Where racists huddle together in safe spaces lit by tiki torches, sheltering their children from anything that might teach them something about the world beyond their doorstep.

So people are flipping out that American Horrory Story has cut a shooting scene from it's episode this week after the Las Vegas shooting. And people are pissed off. Like why? The uncut version will be aired online (and we all know uploaded to tonnes of illegal streaming sites and torrented) so what's the big problem with showing a little sensitivity. There's still bound to be plenty of other violence if that's why you watch it...

I appreciate your positive attitude, I truly do, but I'm not sure it's going to be that easy. Millions of Americans voted for Trump. Millions. Sure, some of them were simply voting against HRC, but a lot of them really believed in his maga bs. The people who hate Obama are getting exactly what they wanted. The dems better get their shit together and put forth a stellar candidate, or else we'll be stuck with this shit show for eight years.

I grew up in Florida but moved away as adult for work. Much later I moved back and couldn't wait to get out. Finally, thank goodness, I did. If you live in a place you don't like, you don't have to stay. In the United States of America, there are 50 states. Take your pick.

American Horror Story is totally amazing this year...so great to see it back on good form.
