I don’t like that I can’t question the government anymore. Their followers and supporters rip me a new ass if I don’t ride their candidates dick. And my brother in law worships Bernie and harasses people I’m the family who votes for trump. He is so full of hate. I mentioned something about a libertarian candidate and a democrat that wasn’t Bernie. Not critical, Just an honest question and he got the roof. An in law likes trump; ok that’s her right. But he is very angry and is borderline psychotic on her treatment of her. I feel like we should always question our gov’t no matter who it is! I feel like both sides aren’t ok with that - and it bothers me. Scares me.

I am torn between being jealous of teenagers growing up today, and SO glad I'm not one. As someone with ADHD who wasn't diagnosed until later in life, if I had been a kid today maybe it would've been caught earlier and I might've developed crucial life skills earlier in life, I also think school seems like a much better place to be than when I was a kid. Also I think we all look back on being teens and really young adults with rose-shaped glasses and wish we could live it over (whilst possibly making better decisions), but forgetting how shit it could actually get. So that's kinda why I'm jealous of them. But on the other hand the way 2020 is going with all the escalating climate strike and Trump acting like the villain in a Star Wars movie, I wonder what they future is going to be like for them. Not that I'm that old, sadly I'll probably have to live through a lot of that shit too.

OK, I'm a pretty liberal gal, but Pelosi tearing up the speach during the state of the union address ticked me off too Not because it's insulting to Trump and the current administration - I don't give 2 shits about them. But because it plays right into everything the republicans and Trumpsters say about us. Don't stoop down to their level. You're just making it worse.

I am genuinely considering going my local bookmaker and placing bets on how the world is going to end. Odds on Trump blowing us all up with his god level stupidity, with runaway climate change in second place, and the Chinese government "oopsy" in failing to disclose a potential fucking pandemic in third place. Maybe I can using my winnings to bargain my way on to Elon Musk's spaceship to Mars.

So after Trump and Australia, now there's wacky weather going on in Spain and a pretty bad virus brewing in China. I feel like mother nature wrote down a new year's resolution and we aren't going to like it.

So 176 innocent people died because Donald Trump was either acting out of grave concern for our country’s safety or acting out some secret motive for himself. Hmmmm?? I cannot even imagine him mulling over option 1 much less acting on it.

I genuinely believe that if anyone other than Bernie Sanders gets the nomination, Trump will win again.

Yup. I live in the midwest. I was baffled in 2016 when people said he wouldn't win and here I am baffled again by the people who say he won't win again. It's like they live in a blue bubble lala land. His fanbase can't wait to vote for him again. And, let's face it, Democrats have a huge problem when it comes to getting people to vote. There is a damn good chance he'll win again. That's the reality. Don't like it? Vote. Tell your friends to vote. Shout from the rooftops to vote. Because a massive portion of the country is about to vote for trump again.
