We made something like 4 gallons of pickles and that doesn't count the pickled zucchini I am going to make. I don't know why, but I always stress out about any of my garden produce going bad so I try to preserve it all when I can. I don't know why, but I get way more mad when the garden produce goes bad than I do when my store-bought produce goes bad.

This is actually an abusive tactic- they talk you up to anybody and everybody and then treat you like shit when nobody's looking. This way nobody believes you if you do tell them how shitty you're treated, and you wind up looking like the bad guy. Classic abusive tactic.

It's legal where I am too. We grow our own, distill it into BHO, and make edibles out of it. Mostly chocolates. However, we're going to try making some broth gummies for our dogs. It works so well for them, our aging mastiff with bad hips gets real rest and relief, and our little anxiety-ridden Boston Terrier can actually be calm during fireworks, storms, and even a nail-clipping. And it really helps me with anxiety and sleep too. We have vape pens, but I don't like them. I like the edibles at about 10mg per serving.

DH told me that I need to "stop being so productive all the time because it makes him feel bad about doing so little". Well NO SHIT. I work 40-45 hours a week, work out, do the laundry, run the errands, do all the cooking and take care of the pets. DH is unemployed and does the dishes and gets the mail and takes care of the trash and the lawn. The rest of his free time he spends working on BS "projects" around the house and property that he claims he needs to get done. I told him that if he wants me to NOT be so "productive", he needs to step his game up.

Same. I've gotten really good at doing my own nails because every experience I've had has been bad. And I've always gone with someone who raves about the place. I went with my mil to her favorite place in Houston for a pedicure and it sucked. The whole time the nail tech tried to upsell me, and when I turned her down, she grabbed my hand and started removing my nail polish! I yanked my hand back, because I'd just painted them the night before, and the two nail techs quit talking to us and would only speak to each other for the rest of the time. RUDE. No tip for you!

You guys are just going to bad nail salons. I've been getting my nails done for decades and never had any issues like you're describing. Just don't go there anymore. If you have bad service at a restaurant, you don't stop going out for meals altogether, you just stop going to that restaurant. Nail salons are just like every other business.

My friend got botox. It looks so bad. It looks like someone punched her in the mouth rather than her lips being plump. If you're going to get botox, do not get it done by some cheap hack...spend the extra to get it done right.

Today is my and dhs wedding anniversary and I'm dying of back pain I don't know what I did to it, but it's so bad I feel nauseated and could cry. It's my back ribs on both sides. I did a full hour of yin yoga this morning but it was really easy and didn't hurt while I was doing it. Started hurting around 2PM. Poor DH won't be getting any anniversary nookie if this doesn't let up. Boo.

I’m having such a bad day! It started out great, but went downhill fast. Decided to get a full set of gel powder nails, made an appointment and today I went. The woman motioned for me to sit, and without a word got started. I asked her twice if she knew I was getting a full set and she nodded yes. Thirty minutes later she says ‘done. Pay me now’! I tried to tell her what I was there for and she started yelling. I gave her my credit card and she kept talking to coworkers. I admit it...I lost it and yelled at her to stop talking about me and run my goddamned card, and she did. I got a call from the owner an hour later offering me what I should have got for free. Gotta think about that. I feel bad for losing my temper, but I also want to punch a wall.

I actually got pissed off at my husband this morning for telling me what he learned on the news. I can't. I just can't. I cried so hard the night he got elected and I knew it was going to be bad. It's getting worse and worse. There's NOTHING I can do about it but vote. And vote I shall. For every single Democrat I can vote for, in every single election. Other than that, I don't want this shit in my life. I can't. I don't want to live my life like this, on the verge of tears every damn day of my life. I'm not having it. I won't watch the news. Fuck that noise, I'm not living like this. Unless you have a protest you want to go to, or something you want to DO about it, don't bring me a problem without a solution so I can stress every single day of my life. Stop.
