I'm so frustrated with my dh. He's got an opportunity to quit the job he hates for a job that he loves and is potentially extremely lucrative. Currently it's offering just a tiny bit less than what he already makes. We can budget for that. The only reason he's hesitating is because of the short term " promise of steady income" and being afraid to make the leap. He's literally working himself to death at this other job and I cant stand it, but he will not listen to me. I want my dh around for the next... I dunno, forever? Not having a heart attack at 45 because he won't slow down and take care of himself now. But he only sees things from one angle. So frustrating.

Love your body love post PP! I am the same way. I decided last year to quit worrying about scale numbers and the perfect size. I like feeling strong and healthy. I like eating healthy and enjoy exercising. If that means I'm a size 10/12 forever, then whatever.

I ghosted on one of my friends after she had a baby. My friends who are parents don't talk to her either anymore. Her entire personality changed. She went from being a happy, normal person to a know-it-all who looked down her nose at everyone. She started a fight with my one friend on Facebook because she fed her kids Cheez-Its and told her that her parenting skills were questionable. The Great Cheez-It Facebook battle will forever live in our memories.

Michelle Obama estimated net worth 11 million. Obama estimated net worth somewhat less but he probably has shifted some to Michelle while he's president. Sky's the limit for his earnings after office due to speeches, endorsements, etc. We'll never get them out of the trough and get to pay for the SS protection forever. If only they were better looking maybe I wouldn't mind.

It is never the victim's fault. It is always the abuser's fault. Abusers want the victim to think it's her fault, because that is part of the abuse. It's how they get away with it over and over and over and over, with victim after victim after victim after victim. Because of this dynamic, it is VERY hard to break off with an abuser. And if you do, go No Contact. Take him by surprise and move when he's not there. Afterward, no phoning, no texting, no messages through friends. No seeing each other to figure out what went wrong, that gives him a chance to manipulate you again. Everything that needs to be done to get rid of him forever can be done through the attorney. I just listed the advice my attorney gave me when I left my abuser.

Woo hoo, got notification of w2 being posted, filed taxes. Thought I'd have to wait forever to receive it and be able to file. Getting about $800 refunded, I don't care that it's a tax free loan to the gubmint. I'll get a bonus from my employer around the time I get my refund and I don't have any debt to pay off so now I get to think about what kind of fun shit I'll buy. Would put some into my retirement account but the market looks like shit right now. To the research lab, Robin.

Have to tell a guy that things aren't working out. He moves away forever in 2 months, so this was supposed to be a casual fun thing until then. We started talking 11 days ago and I feel like I'm back in my shitty marriage. Our first day of talking alone I either was made to feel guilty or felt the need to apologize 10 times! That's 10 times in 6 hours! I feel obligated to explain myself every time I do something he doesn't like. Apparently I take too long to text him back (doesn't matter I'm a single mom to a crazy toddler and have shit to do every day) and I HAVE to talk to him on the phone daily, no matter that I despise talking on the phone. Screw this. It shouldn't be this frustrating. I'm on the verge of depression again and I'm fairly certain he has a lot to do with it.

So my XDH, DD16's dad, has decided to get healthy (I guess his doc told him to) and has started working out. Bought an elliptical and exercise balls and whatnot. He's gonna do a half hour of cardio every day. I learned all of this from DD16, who is very supportive of her dad. She's committed to doing a half hour of cardio a day too since he is. Great, right? Yes, great. But..... it kind of bugs me that I've been trying to get her to do yoga with me forever and she won't. But she'll work out with her dad. So stupid that this bothers me. That's why I'm only talking about it here.

Hey, guess what happens if you pressure cook beans without enough liquid? A big, fat, burned up mess, that's what. It's going to take me forever to clean this stupid pressure cooker.

I get so weirded out by my ex IL's, who I still run into from time to time. Ex MIl has this weird shellacked hairstyle and everlasting fake grin on her face and talks in bible quotes. She really takes the bible literally and thinks Eve cursed women forevermore by eating an apple that a talking snake convinced her to eat. Ex FIL is just silent, huge, depressed and weird. The two of them are like a morose walking talking dark carnival. No wonder ex DH was so messed up.
