They obsess over 20 week abortions because the reality of your usual pre-12 week medical and surgical abortions are not harrowing or bloody enough to upset most people to the point of turning pro-life. I'm living in Dublin, Ireland right now and there was a mass protest on the streets the other day about the abortion laws. There are people dying or going to jail over it in South America. I just cannot understand why people want to go back in time.

Pro-life politician neck deep in money from shares he has in abortion pills produced in Indonesia. Plot twist: it's in the UK and he's a contender for the next prime minister. Motherfucking hope we're not going the way of America. No offence guys, but your abortion situation deeply sucks. We've never had much of a political pro life movement here, I really don't want to see that start.

I'm not saying OJ didn't do it. I'm saying when you have a lead investigator who has such vile views of African Americans, people may very well not put it past him to plant evidence. It's irresponsible for a juror to say, "The police really screwed up this investigation, but I'm going to convict him of murder anyway." Mark Fuhrman planted enough of a seed of doubt that the jurors didn't put tampering with evidence past him. It happens every day. Heck, there was a police officer in St. Louis recently who was caught on camera planting drugs in a black suspect's car. Do you think things like that really don't happen when there's NOT a camera there?

I'm literally going to have $0.35 to my name Monday (when my car payment goes through) until I get paid on Friday. Fortunately, bills are paid, I have food in my fridge and pantry and my gas tank is full, but this is the tightest money has ever been for me. I interviewed for a role at work that would mean a promotion, more consistent hours and a pay increase, but they said they'd get back to me once all of the interviews are over. Almost 50 people applied for 2 spots. I should know by the end of the month. #theamericandream

Yes, lets go back to the days where 18 year old boys were dying in trenches, or the days when we used the residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as lab rats. Fuck diplomacy, lets just all nuke each other. We all know that's what you war hungry bigots wants, dead and dying people of every nationality but American. Til the war gets so bad it ends up on your turf and precious Americans start dying.

If we're talking about America, the majority of people belong to the working poor class. Most people can't afford to put enough in savings to keep themselves afloat for a month or two, let alone give their money to a charity. I agree with donating food and clothes, but for the majority of Americans, donating cash just isn't doable. Not to mention the fact that many charities aren't very honest, or are paying their CEOs million dollar+ salaries. I'll donate food, clothes, books, and toys, but never cash.

What does everyone think about the fuss over the "American Horror Story" posters? People are branding it irresponsible because it shows images that trigger people with "trypophobia" (which AFAIK is still to be recognised as a legit phobia by the DSM, and the American Psychiatric Association do not recognise people's reactions to clusters of small holes as genuine phobia because there's more to a phobia than the symptoms people describe). I don't see any coulrophobia sufferers freaking out over posters of "It" (and that is a recognised phobia). I'm all for legit trigger warnings for PTSD sufferers and the like for legitimately violent or sexualised content, but I honestly feel like if horror producers are going to have to take every little issue that could crop up they are going to be left with no images for their marketing. There's people out there with irrational fears of cotton wool, light, polystyrene etc etc. How far do we take it?

I agree..even happens within America. I'm from Illinois and whenever I travel and tell people that, they always mention something about Chicago.

I think its easier to associate a nationality with something that is more common or more known by that person in particular. If you are an American visiting Europe, many assume you are from New York or Los Angeles because those are two cities that are widely known in other parts of the world.

I'm no supporter of shit stains (ewwwww!!!) or not wiping properly, but Americans are way too obsessed with cleanliness. If you have a big head of foam going, I can see how someone would think they had enough "soap" to clean the rest of their body - if they are rubbing it around their pits and bits ...
