Did gender reveal parties exist before social media? Seriously asking. I never heard of them until Pinterest, Facebook, etc.

What is beach body? I hear about it a lot on Facebook. Is it one of those programs where you have to buy a lot of food and shakes from the so called coach? is the coach actually a legitimate personal trainer with credentials or is it any old person off the street?

When you sign up with Facebook or other social accounts, you don't have to give your correct birth date or address. You can make it all up, even your name. It's not like there's a Facebook police squad - yet. Wait for it.

All these people going crazy over Facebook having their phone calls or texts.... Y'all know your phone/ internet provider/ Wi-Fi connection/phone assistant/etc all have the same info, right? Smh.

If you honestly believe you will or won't have good luck by reposting a picture on facebook, I don't think we can be friends.

Our granddaughter posted a pic on Facebook and tagged me as GG (for great grandma). The baby's grand mother commented that she wanted to be GG for Grandma Gretchen. Granddaughter explained that GG stood for something else and she got huffy and said, 'well I guess he can just call me Gretchen then since somebody else has to have her way.' I have never met that woman but she's sure pissing me off!

Why are you even taking sides on some couple's Facebook fight? Don't you have anything better to do than document "that moment when..." if it has nothing to do with your life? You sound weird. And sad. And overly invested in other people's relationships.

I keep having the same conversation on facebook. An old high school classmate finds me, and excitedly writes about how s/he can't wait to catch up. They tell me all about their kids, and then ask what I am up to. I tell them about my latest travels and hobbies (Mexico and Hawaii, surfing and fire dancing this year). And then there is an hour of awkward conversation while we try to scramble for anything in common. I am glad they are doing well, but I always wonder if it would be better if we never tried to reconnect.
