I'm the OP whose DH superglued the carpet runner to the kitchen floor. The problem is that he still thinks this was a seriously brilliant idea and does not understand why I'm pissed off about it. What is so hard to understand?? You ruined the floor, DH!! Why would I not be mad about that??

I am ready to spit nails at DH today. We have a carpet runner in our kitchen over the laminate floor to protect it from the traffic from the pets, etc. I mentioned we should get some of those carpet rubber things to put under it so it wouldn't slip as much. What does DH do? Goes and buys a roll of carpet tape--as in, the stuff that PERMANENTLY adheres carpet to the subfloor--and basically superglued the runner to the laminate floor. So now the floor's probably ruined and I can't get the runner off to mop under it anymore. GRRRRRR!!!!!

Visited DS20 at his first place out on his own. His GF had to work so she wasn't there. I swear - it is the smallest place I think I've ever seen. I mean it is TINY. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all one room which is smaller than my office at work. They have very little furniture, no food in the fridge, a bathroom that a large person would just plain not fit in..... and I've never seen him happier in his life. The house sits right next to a trail into the woods (awesome) and the nearest neighbors have about a half dozen goats in their back yard. And they love it. I'm over the moon for them. !!!!

We are lacking cupboard space, so roommate has been putting some of her food items in a brown box on the kitchen floor. It looks very tacky bc her appliances are on the floor, too. We had city inspectors were coming today though they didn't need to make it to every single unit including ours. I lied to roommate anyway and said that inspectors said food on ground floor would attract rodents, just so I can put her food on top of fridge. I don't care of she calls out on BS. She is a huge hoarder with half our of large living room with her crap bc it all doesn't fit in her room.

I'm married to a big idiot who doesn't know how to fix ANYTHING! He's been redoing his shed. Messed the floors up and had to call his friend. Friend did a great job fixing the floor. Dh paints the whole inside of shed. Then guess what he does??? He puts the trim in and paints it after! Dumb ass! I told him to paint the trim before he put it in. You should see the walls & floor! Total mess! I have been telling him for years to people to do the fix it stuff. He doesn't listen!!!!! He put a wall ac in the shed and cut the hole crooked. Freaking moron. I'm so sick of him trying to fix stuff. Installed a new faucet in kitchen. The hot and cold are backwards and it leaks!!!!! God, I'm so sick of his stupid ass!!!!

I was sitting in the kitchen working on my laptop when roommate and her ex-bf tried to quietly sneak out. Awkward. I didn't make eye contact as they exited and ran down the stairs. The crazy ex-bf that I had to block from my phone. That she swore was done with after her epiphany from trip abroad. I didn't know he was back. I guess these two crazies belong together.

SS23 and SD24 helped us pack up our apartment when we moved to our house. It's easy to tell who packed which boxes. SD's are neatly and efficiently packed with like items, securely sealed and clearly marked with its contents. SS's boxes are a crapshoot, with stuff from all different rooms, and not marked, which is why I can't find things. Just opened a box that has mostly electronics like laptops, DVD players, cables, power cords/strips, etc., piled all willy-nilly, basically throw in. I'll be surprised if nothing is broken. Also in there? Rags, a bottle of Rain-X, two bath towels, a countertop shelf from the kitchen, and the master bathroom's toilet brush and holder. Wtf, kid?!

My older sister once took family leave for 6 weeks to help my mom recover from heart surgery. She stayed at home with her two kids and drove the 3 miles to my mom's house not even once a week. I drove to see Mom during that time from 500 miles away, cleaned her kitchen and made and froze her soups and low fat muffins and other things. My sister is a clueless, selfish idiot, so that wasn't a surprise at all.

I got a blender for my birthday last year. When I saw it, I was kind of bummed but when I used it I was so stoked. My old blender, which I thought was fine, usually took over a minute to make a smoothie and this one did it in less than 10 seconds. Woo. But I got it from my mom. I'm hoping my boyfriend will get me a KitchenAid stand mixer for Christmas this year, even if kitchen appliances are "lame" gifts. I've only put one on my list every year for the past 500 years.

My DH is going through a bad manic phase and I'm so frustrated. Last night he was talking about buying a house about 100 miles from where we live now and when I mentioned I'd need to find a job there first, he said I could just not work and stay home and take care of the chickens we could have there. And he's making all sorts of plans for things that we are never going to really do. He's also following me around the house, talking to me nonstop. I mean, I don't mind talking to him, but he follows me into the bathroom, into the kitchen, into the basement, etc. I just need a break from him for a while.
