So there's always grumbling from some people in my country about election fraud, but the few articles that pop up are not credible. In the US you have clear evidence of "missing" ballots, credible articles about 100,000 being purged from the voter rolls in error, clear voter suppression from strategic polling location choice, and open gerrymanding...even the term is hilarious, why can't it just be called fraud? I know it's a big country and it must be a total nightmare to arrange and carry out the election, but this shit is clear as day, everyone can see it. Even former Soviet Bloc countries are doing democracy better than the "Greatest democracy in the world" (which BTW there's an index for that, the US isn't in the top 20, all the Scandinavian countries right wingers love to criticise are though.) I hope nobody takes offence at this, it's disgusting you guys have to go through this, and it needs to be sorted the fuck out.

I've been trying to do my version of an elimination diet and I started a week ago. Over the weekend I added back in some pasta, and it gave me heartburn. I never get heartburn, it wasn't even one of my issues that caused me to try this diet. Also, I went from 122 to 125 overnight. WTF? So, even though it wasn't the culprit I was looking for, I think I'mma leave it out of my diet on a more permanent basis. The only other thing so far that I've discovered I'm sensitive to is eggs. And that was a huge surprise because I always thought I tolerated eggs really well. But I immediately felt icky after eating one. This week, I'm going to try just the white, and then just the yolk to see if I can pinpoint it even more. I am really pretty worried that when I add cheese back into my diet I'll find out it's making me sick. I love cheese. Really, really love it. I'll be really sad if it causes me to feel sick.

Oooh snap! My coworker loves to leave early on Fridays. Usually she leaves at 3:30 or 4:00 (she gets in at a bit before 8am and I usually come in at 7:30) and yesterday she left at quarter to 4. Our boss came in to our office at 4 and asked where she was. I told her she had left and my boss was pissed. We are moving offices in a few months and my boss said she's going to keep more of an eye on her. Honestly, I don't know how she thought she'd get away with it. It's like, our boss was bound to find out eventually. Maybe she'll get fired. It wouldn't make me sad, that's for sure. I'm doing most of our work anyway.

Anyone ever notice that the Pioneer Woman's husband is kind of a dick to her when she cooks him anything he doesn't absolutely love? I imagine he's kind of a dick to her most of the time too. Just my 2 cents but he has that vibe.

Since we're all posting our confusion with right wing viewpoints, here's mine. Trump is well known for being loved among working class voters. It's actually impressive (in a diabolical way) how working class people have been hoodwinked into basically voting against their interests. Not just with Trump, but in recent history and throughout the world, a lot of the working class have become really right wing. It's really amazing to me how a tax cheating billionaire who inherited his fortune has become so popular amongst people who have little money, and so many have absorbed this "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps" mentality when they *know* how difficult it is to live with little or no money to spare. I guess everybody has been brainwashed with this hustle culture American Dream, "Anyone can be a millionaire/billionaire" nonsense. I feel sorry for so many of these people until they start spouting the racist anti immigrant talking points, then I just can't.

There are actual forums out there of Trumpers who are sharing tips on how to do voter intimidation. Trump is actually recommending "poll watchers." How is this legal, and how is he allowed to talk like this? I support free speech but I also think the president really shouldn't be allowed to encourage people to threaten violence on those who aren't going to vote for him. This isn't some developing nation dictatorship, why the fuck are these people who act like they love the US so much behaving like this? This is not American behaviour, this is North Korean behaviour.

I found a two friends possibly 3 that are very interested! Wow, I just had to ask around. No more relying on flaking friends that make me do all the planning even though I love planning. :)

Got thrown under the bus by my colleague again today in a meeting. I just firmly replied, "Let's try to keep this factual, and if you have an issue with me, always feel free to speak to me directly." I'm so over it with her. I sent a letter around today to be signed by the entire staff, because they just cut a teacher, and she said she objected to one word- "unconscionable." The letter read-"It is unconscionable to do this to students during a pandemic." I asked, "What word would work for you?" Mind you- this is two days after she rolled the bus under me. She said, "It's disheartening" that a teacher was let go, and the students split into three different classes. I love how her words get soft when it has to do with defending a colleague, but when it comes to attacking one, she has no problem bringing the knives out

I didn't think I'd like watching him, but I freaking love IFBB pro Greg Doucette's YouTube channel. He has such great videos and he's so down to earth and real when it comes to nutrition. I find that a lot of the good nutrition advice on YouTube comes from people who actually work out; not from the weirdo nutritionists who promote stupid crap like food combining and highly restrictive diets.

I've been having so much anxiety about the upcoming election and decided to channel that by signing up as an election volunteer after hearing coworkers and family helping get out the vote, phone banking, etc. I think it will make a difference and I love seeing behind the scenes.
