I was a waitress years ago and worked in a high end restaurant in a wealthy part of town. Some of the customers' attitudes were outrageously self entitled. They would ask us to do things like pick out the celery chunks in soup because they didn't like them, they'd ask for stuff not on the menu and demand that someone go to the store to get the necessary ingredients if they weren't available. I kid you know, one lady simply had to have her spinach and strawberry salad (which we did not serve) and made a stink, saying she saw no reason why we couldn't "send one of your people" to the store. Cuh-razy doesn't even begin to describe it. Oh, and they always wanted free stuff.

My cousin told me she had a POS (point of service, used in restaurants) listed on Craigslist. A woman contacted her, said she'd buy it and send an extra $500 via PayPal. Cousin was to pay the guy who picks up the POS $500 of her own money for shipping (even though the 'buyer' lives 50 miles away), then transfer the money deposited into her PayPal account to her checking account. I told my cousin no, No, NO and NOOOOOOO, that it was a scam. She said it couldn't be because PayPal is involved. Guess what? The buyer put money in her PayPal account, cousin gave the guy the POS and $500 cash, and when she went to transfer the funds they were gone. Now she's boo-hoo'ing to everyone, and I'm just thinking DUH! I may be accused of not trusting people, but I didn't just give away a $1500 item AND $500 of my own money, so.....

I don't know why people think having weekends off is so great. Most of the time I work weekends and I prefer that. Occasionally I'm scheduled a weekend day off and it is crowded everywhere! Grocery stores, home improvement stores, the gym, the beach, parks, movie theaters, restaurants, parking lot jams.... etc. And how do people schedule appointments without taking time off of work? No thanks, I'd much rather have weekdays off.

Not only the restaurant screw ups but I ask you if you want a tour to the muesum. You say no and want to know about the prices. BEFORE I TELL YOU THE PRICES YOU ASK ABOUT THE TOURS. I ask you once again because you are fucking stupid if you want to take a tour, you say no. I am about to tell you about the ticket price and you ask about a tour.

Look, you know that I can speak the language so you ask me to order for you. I do and then right before the waiter leaves you ask him/her for something else in a complicated ass way and confusing him because not only do you NOT speak French but your English is bad as well. If you wanted something else, tell me so I can translate it or stop repeating the order to the waiter, I already have told the waiter what you wanted. You don't have to do it again. You have already screwed up two of our restaurant orders because of this. If you call him one last time, you will pay for dinner because I am not going to pay my half of a messed up dinner order because you can't get that through your dumb head.

I'm so sick and tired of people being rude to me and other people for no reason other than to just be a jerk. I can't begin to count how many times today I was cut off while driving, some jerk in a crappy Buick cut me off while dragging a trailer that had a refrigerator in it, some "princess" driving a really nice Cadillac SUV cut me off in the grocery store parking lot, these are people who couldn't wait 10 seconds for me to get past them, someone cut me off at the drive-thru coffee window so they could order 5 drinks versus my 1 drink, a group of people seeing me and dh following them into a restaurant and not 1 of them could hold the door open for us. There's got to be a place where there's really nice people, right? Honestly, I'm so tired of this rudeness, I feel like crying.

Yessss! Finally found a good Chinese restaurant in my neighborhood. It might even be better than the place my family has been going to for 15 years. I neglected this new place for a year now, I don't even know why. It got good reviews on yelp and is actually about half a mile closer than others. Cheaper too. It's a good thing we only really eat out maybe twice a month (pizza once and usually some sort of Asian cuisine) otherwise I could easily see myself eating there often, and getting fatter.

Ate out all day. I've logged my calories but had to guess at some things. I'm pretty sure that I'm probably well over, instead of just right at my calories for the day. I am full! Haven't had dinner yet though. And you know what? I'm not gonna! I'm not going to eat any more amazing restaurant food today, unless I actually get hungry. I think that I won't. This is a huge win for me.

About a month ago, my boyfriend of a year (let's call him "Mike") and his long time friend ("Jack") from their hometown cheated on his girlfriend ("Sara") of 5 years. Immediately, Sara left for our city to meet up with other friends and get space. I only met her this summer, and found the meet ups to be a negative b*tch fest. The last one was very cringeworthy as we ate at restaurant, seated outside a crowded patio. I know everyone could hear our convo. I also pick up on energy very easily, so it was exhausting meeting her. Afterwards, she would send very long texts us of proclamations to dump bf, she's moving on, etc. I felt we were still advising and consoling her even out of town. I don't think she has ended their relationship from last I heard. Yesterday, she texts us, says she's back town, let's hang out if we're free. I don't want to hang out with you because it is a very one-sided thing. Not once has she asked how we were How do I put it nicely as to not hurt both her and my bf?

A lot of places allow dogs. I camp and do short road trips often and my dog comes along. We've been to restaurants where patio seating was required with her, but also one restaurant in winter when we were visiting a neat town refused to make us sit outside, they let us sit inside with our dog. She laid under the table. The store I work at allows dogs, since we carry ruff wear, but apparently different locations don't. I follow a dog on Instagram that reviews beer and breweries. So short answer, if you're looking for places to bring your dog, call first.
