Hello there! I'm one of the people who can't afford insurance through the ACA. Just so you know, you're painting with some pretty broad strokes if you're assuming that we all support Trump. I voted for Obama and I totally support many parts of the ACA. However, the reality of it is that it royally screws the working poor (a.k.a the majority of Americans). That being said, if you think I want it to vanish, and force millions of people to lose their coverage, you are just flat out wrong. Our entire system needs to be overhauled and we need a single payer system. Not sure why you lumped us all into some weird anti-Obama group, but if you would stop, that would be great. I don't know what's more insulting; you thinking I'm too dense to understand our healthcare system, or you thinking I support the "men" in office.

Trump jr's emails... and Trump supporters STILL deny that the Russians interfered with the election. I'm fascinated and horrified by the level of cognitive dissonance and party loyalty. As an American, and former Republican, I'm disgusted by our government.

I live in Europe and while out and about doing some sight seeing, a group of 20 something guys were at the same place. My husband and I look very American as well as our son so we stick out. When the group got closer one guy yelled out "Man, your English is fucking amazing bro." Then as they passed buy us a few started chanting "I have a dream." Then the next chant was "cold beer." They all had a good laugh and proceeded on. I get the stigma of American's and their cold beer but not sure what was so funny about I have a dream. I am sure they don't understand the meaning and emotional significance behind "I have a dream" but it was still annoying.

If you're a woman, disabled, or elderly you are completely screwed with the new healthcare bill. FYI, I'm no fan of the ACA. Obama had an opportunity to fix a lot more than he did, and the working poor, a.k.a. the majority of Americans, were totally shafted. Trumpcare takes our failed healthcare to a whole new level. If you don't realize that, I'm going to have to assume you're either illiterate, or simply too lazy to educate yourself (watching Fox news doesn't count). As far as making healthcare affordable, premiums are expected to skyrocket, especially for America's most vulnerable citizens. But the wealthy get major tax cuts, so... yay. Quit making this about Dems vs. Repubs. People on both sides have dissected this dumpster fire and are equally horrified.

I totally understand how the wealthy still support Trump. They're the ones who will essentially benefit. What kills me are the millions of working poor who will be gutted by his policies. Is it lack of education? Racism? Party loyalty? Probably all of the above. Making America great again is only for rich, white people. That's it. Believe me when I say that you and I are not included in the "greatness." Not even a little. Maybe that's part of Trump's appeal; he truly makes poor, uneducated people feel included in his lifestyle. Like they'll somehow become like him-- wealthy racists, instead of poor racists. Spoiler alert: nope, not happening.

"they are murderers of their own people". yet here in america we have cops gun unarmed black people down without a second thought for the smallest or no infraction. these same cops get to walk away scotch free because they "feared for their lives." but let me guess, you don't give a fuck about that because they're just a bunch of no good thugs, right? good riddance,right? they deserved it, right?

File this under: Super Random. But in the 1980s, I was on a high school exchange in Ireland. We went to a county dance in a tent. All of a sudden, another teen (an Irish boy) came up and grabbed me and tried to take me out of the tent. Our counselors, who were Irish, came up and told him I was American and he put me down. This is/was an Irish "Traveler" or gypsy tradition of courtship. A boy in that culture would "grab: the girl he was interested in. Nothing violent or abusive was meant by it and I don't think a kiss was even in the works. I only learned what it was a few years ago.

Shame?? Only thing I am ashamed of is the 45th president. Your president, because he surely isn't mine. He's the most indecent "leader" this nation has ever had. Ever. FOH with YOUR shame. You should be embarrassed and ashamed of the shape of the morality and division your president has caused us as of late. Also, please explain "the revolution"? What revolution? What's it doing to advance America? Name one thing you can be proud of that your president has done. That one thing that you can tell your grandchildren and great grandchildren he has done that made America great.

Let's cut ties with China. Better yet, bomb them. Fine with me. They are murderers of their own people just like the Castros and Kim Jong Unbearable. We'll be fine here on the North American continent, puffing on homegrown marijuana. We'll no longer have the problem of people dying from fentenyl made in China and brought in over the Mexican border to kill our people.
