Why do 'medical professionals' always think they are know it alls? That they are the big kahunas? I like how they don't say "front desk girl" or "administrative assistant" but "medical professionals". That doesn't mean you know squat about MY condition or MY medical needs. I like how a doctor will spend ten minutes with me and think he/she understands my medical history. YOu have no idea how many times i've been misdiagnosed (finally correctly diagnosed with celiac) and prescribed crazy amounts of meds (all with terrible side effects) or called crazy (before I got celiac diagnosis one doc told me I was an attention seeker). I LAUGH when people say not to listen to my instincts or "let the doctor decide what is best". It is a tragedy what some of these clowns will decide.

I think today I made points with the accountant and several of the administrative assistants at my work. And then I ran into a colleague with greater seniority who was his normal unfriendly, grumpy, judgemental self with me, and so despite the brownie points with the others, I left work feeling like crap.

If the admin ever gives us the ability to post a user picture, I don't know if I'd post a picture of my face. I like the anonymity, but at same time, I am curious to see what you all look like (not that you guys will post your real picture) But then it would be facebook lol

I finally read the blog post. I feel bad the admin is feeling hurt about some of the negativity, but seriously...you shouldn't take it to heart. The site is clean, functions well and as you said, traffic is increasing. There will ALWAYS be naysayers. If they hate it so much, they can go make their own site, right? Which they won't. Because I don't think they left at all. Chin up girl! You need a thick skin in this internet world. All is good.

I don't think anyone is being negative about the admin's efforts...they are being negative with regards to the unneccessarily bitchy response posts people put here. That is all. No need for Boobooboo to feel bad about anything she has done here. I think she made an admirable effort to replicate a Truu type of site. I think it will grow in time as more users become familiar with it. Trouble is, you need SOME kind of moderation on these types of sites or trolls take over. I don't like heavily moderated sites but I have seen some go down in flames when the trolls start foaming at the mouth.

admin-thank you for the stickers! I have been putting them in random places around my town! Also, don't let all the negativity get you down. I (and others) really appreciate all the time and effort you've put into building this site. Don't think your efforts are unappreciated! xoxo
