Any former police here? What did you do what you did? Do you ever feel remorse? Have you ever reached out to your former victims to apologize? I honestly wonder.

The other day in a parking lot I watched a mother just unleash some physical punishment on her small kid, maybe 3 years old. She sat him in his seat and just went to slapping on him. I stared that bitch down cold. She gave me a dirty look back. I really failed guys. I should have said something to make her stop. I am sure she would have approached me and it's quite possible there would have been an altercation because she looked like that type of person. I could have called the police and reported this. I fucking failed. I am so pissed at myself. This wasn't a spanking, this was full on slapping this child. Damn.

Call the police. And let your apartment manager know too. That guy sounds creepy as fuck- get record of his behavior. If he were truly as innocent as he claims, he wouldn't have reacted so poorly to you calling him an asshole. Be safe.

So i'm pretty freaked out and its partially my fault. I was taking my dog out yesterday and a car seemed to be speeding through the apartment parking lot yesterday and I thought I was going to be hit. So I called the person an asshole. The dude jumped out and got in my face. Called me a fat bitch, said he wasn't speeding, going on about other things. He also threatened to punch me several times. I have actually had a couple polite conversations with this man. Anyhow I thought things had calmed down but when I came home from work tonight I'm pretty sure he was waiting for me. There is two ways to get up to my apartment. I decided to take the back way and as I came around the corner I noticed a male was crouched down facing the parking lot. Now I'm not sure if it was him because I backed up and didn't stick around to see his face. I really don't want to go to the police but I need to file a report at least. Next time I need to keep my mouth shut.

The fact that you write it this way "While y'all were going on" you make it sound as if it's partly our fault for "going on" about other stuff - like, if only we'd been paying attention and discussing that case, then maybe that guy would have been prosecuted. GMAFB, just because we weren't going on about that case here doesn't mean the public doesn't know about it, and it doesn't mean people aren't disgusted by it. Sitting here yapping about it on CCC isn't going to change what happened. Not talking about AM isn't going to change what happened. I'm not even in that state - what you want me to do, go to my police station and bitch? You going to pay my bills when I miss work?

Everybody says the word "thug" is code for "urban black man," so using the word isn't PC. Have you ever heard someone say "I just want justice!" after their son or babydaddy gets shot by police? Let's not kid ourselves, that's code for "I wanna make some money off of this!"

So a bunch of white men roll into Ferguson armed with assault rifles to...."keep the peace" and the police do nothing. If they were black I bet they'd be dead. Just like little Tamir Rice who was shot even though it was in a right to carry state.

I'm not greensquirrel, but you can't blame just the dad for bad parenting. You have to admit some fault. I'm not saying its entirely your fault that your kid is bat shit crazy. It just seems like before things got this bad, you could have persued alternative options. I.e. sending her to a state facility or insisting that she stay with her father and having the police send her there. In WA state, you can legally terminate your rights, you just have to maintain legal responsibility. Since you don't have any money, you could inform the courts that you're an unfit parent so that your DD can be remanded to the custody of your husband.

So a mom goes to the mall food court for a job interview. She brings her 6 and 2 year old because she couldn't find last minute childcare. She sits them down at a table about 30feet away from her while conducting the interview. She gets her kids a bit later and she's immediately arrested. What.the.fuck?! the police officer in question is a huge idiot. Had he actually been paying attention and doing his job he would have noticed her there. I mean I thought being observant was part of training? The judge released her and her kids back into her custody. But those poor kids and that poor mom.
