Lol I have to come back and also state that I am not a nuclear physicist or a doctor. I don't know anyone who is. My friends are administrative assistant, a CNA, a finance guy at Chistian Science Monitor, a cocktail waitress, a waiter, a computer programmer and a soldier. My degreess are in political philosophy (dumb) and social work. My grad school programs are not elite. It just is what it is. I'm not going to covet a degree at a big name university or pretend I'm superior because I've been farther in my simple education than my friends. My debt doesn't trump my struggles to get here and no one has ever laughed in my face or scoffed at my choice of path to get here. To do so would only make them the lesser person, not me. I hope most people feel that way about their lives. I wish they did anyways.

When I put a symbol into a swear word instead of fully typing it out, I'm simply trying to be respectful to others. Of course they know what I'm saying. The admin stated that cussing is not her "cup of tea"and I know she isn't the only one who feels that way. I cuss like a sailor but try to restrain myself when speaking to other people and, yes, internet users count as people. Don't like it? Oh f*cking well!

Dear admin: Do you think there will be a search feature in the future?

I really miss the body channel. I would be able to complain about my new IBS diagnosis there and get to gloat about how I have lost 15 lbs. in about a month between a diet change before my diagnosis. It feels odd here. - The Pop Culture channel is now "proclaimed" also the "Body" channel. I will be moving all posts regarding Fitness to this channel. (Admin)

Yes, the internet is my life right now. In the past 4 yrs my Alzheimer's mom got sick with cancer and took 6 months to die. I was her caregiver and had no life. During that time, my abusive alcoholic H that I was planning to leave after mom died, he got a disabling disease so I couldn't leave him alone till he got better. That took 2 years of lifting him, hauling him around in his wheelchair, running our huge house alone and enduring his threats which included guns that I had to get out of the house. That made him even angrier and more aggressive. He managed to get more guns so I left. I struggled along on little money, and then my Dad got advanced terminal Alzheimers and has been in hospice care at home for 2 yrs with me and my siblings taking care of him,. He has not died yet. I moved out of state far from family and friends because of threats from ex husband. My uncle sued me and my sibs over administration of Mom's estate. My life went to hell, and now I have an illness that may be serious. I have little social outlet except the net. So yeah, I'm on here a lot. It helps me deal with the pain.
