Question: Am I a bad rm for not allowing house guests during covid out break? The quarantine was lifted in my state... but still, many businesses are closed. Rms friends try to come over and I always have to say I'm not comfortable with it. I am an introvert and I honestly hate having people in and out of my house, but I never tried to stop rm from having company because we both pay rent.

I'm thinking of giving myself a haircut this weekend. Its from biceps to just at my shoulder, maybe. It's getting too heavy and annoying. If it goes bad it'll just grow back plus we're all still sheltering in place now and I'm not seeing anyone other that coworkers online. Has any ladies done that, yet?

Some people don't think Karma is real, but I do. I notice that people who treat me bad end up having bad things happen to them shortly after. Someone abused me, they got cancer. One person assaulted me, their spouse divorced them and took their kid away. Another slept with my BF at the time, then she ended up homeless with her kid living in a hotel, exbf went to jail. Another had a heart attack soon after being abusive. A boss allowed a coworker to pick on me, say vile things to me and scream at me...in fact she scheduled us together all 5 days the same shift for months. I cried to her about it affecting my health several times. I was told to suck it up. I told the owners, then quit. They both got fired. Coworkers bf broke up with her, boss's husband died unexpectedly in his sleep.

To the OP with the 15 year old filling: I get where you are coming from! It turns out, for some of us, the needle actually is worse than the drilling. There is will be less drilling if you get it fixed right away. I have had drilling done without the needle, and it wasn't that bad. If it is bad (and you can decide part way through the procedure), make sure your dentist has laughing gas. I have used gas instead of novocaine, and it is an OK substitute. I have also used gas before the needle, and it helps a lot. It makes it seem like the needle goes fast, and isn't as painful. And it makes it so you just don't care about needles as much. Just remember, you are in charge. You can tell the dentist what they are allowed to do to you, and what they can't. And you can walk out if they try to pressure you.

Why the younger generations are less interested in religion in a nutshell headline: Tennessee man gets conviction for raping his adopted daughter multiple times slashed because he's a pastor. Because we all want that man back in his position of authority as soon as possible. I mean, he still got 12 years which given how shitty rape convictions usually go, is not bad. But still.

I have a coworker that has been badmouthing and threatening to leave her DH for at least ten years. He's not abusive, just lazy and clueless and doesn't help her with anything. I don't care what she does with her life, but day in and day out "this time she means it" and continues to just bitch and moan about him. All. Day. Long. Then when someone calls her out she has a lame excuse. They have no kids and she makes twice as much money as him. They also rent an condo so not even any real estate to deal with. Sick of hearing it all. Shit or get off the pot! I think some people just like to complain.

A while back, I posted about how purple irises have become like a bad omen for me. I saw them everywhere and it always meant a shitshow was about to go down. I finally just flat out asked for it to stop and asked for a new way for the universe to communicate with me. For the last few months, I've been seeing repetitive numbers. 222, 333, 444, 555, 1111, and 1212. Everywhere I look, there they are. No more purple irises at all and my life has gotten immeasurably better. Cool.

If you knew someone who was addicted to psychics and was paying lots of money for bogus advice, would you feel compelled to help them? This person has brushed off any attempts to make her see that they are charlatans who are just out to get her money. I believe that some people really do have the ability to foretell the future, but the ones she sees aren't. She's been getting bad advice from fakes for over 20 years and is in deeper than ever now. How can I help her?

With the ER visit a few weeks ago and the three iron transfusions (the last is tomorrow), I will owe over $2000 AFTER my insurance pays their paltry sum. We pay $13000 a year for this insurance and still end up with about $8000 out of pocket. Our income has dropped, the sale of our house had to be postponed, and now this. I decided to save $350 and not have the last infusion tomorrow and DH has been preaching about what a bad idea that is. I’ve done nothing but cry all day long. And I’m not a crier.

I'm so irritated. I found these really cool candles a couple months ago. I want one so badly, but it's like trying to get front-row seats for an Elton John concert. They have different types that are restocked on alternate weeks, and there's a countdown on the site to the next restock. I set my alarm, go to the page with the candle I want, refresh the page when there's 10 seconds left, click "buy now," but by the time I check out with PayPal, it's too late. The site's entire inventory sells out in one minute flat. Then you have to wait two weeks to try again (or one week if you want the other type of candle). It's extremely stressful.
