Pinterest. And cooking sites like AllRecipes. Oh, and fitness blogs. I waste a lot of time on Facebook games, too.

I guess I'm really naive. I know that many people only show the best things that are happening to them on facebook, and don't necessarily post about the more negative stuff. But I have a friend whose husband just announced this week he has been having an affair for years, and he wants a divorce 'as fast as humanly possible', and that she shouldn't expect any alimony because he has been taking care of her long enough. And she is still posting on facebook cute family photos, talking about how blessed they are, and talking about what a great summer vacation they have planned. I'm not sure what I expected - maybe no posts at all for a while? I can't understand why she is still putting up these posts that show what a perfect life she has.

TMZ is my time suck. Also Facebook, Amazon, and craft blogs. And I also waste my time scrolling through Instagram.

I keep seeing these memes on Facebook about being a boy mom. About peeing on the floor and such - hahahaha. NO! It's not funny. It's disrespectful and gross. They don't get to literally piss on the floor (with the implication that you - the mom - the woman) will clean it up. That's not OK. That's not funny. Make them clean that up. Teach them it's never OK to expect someone do clean up after you. They don't get a pass because they're boys.

I complained about my coworker, "this bitch" and her entitled self when it came to social media and awards. Yesterday my supervisor called me while on vacation and told me they removed her social media admin rights and I was in charge of Facebook and Twitter until he gets back next week. We're a government agency and we just got two way media approved a few months ago. Apparently she said something inappropriately snarky to a customer. Yikes. My supervisor is really easy going most of the time so this must be serious. I don't like her much but I hope she doesn't lose her job or anything. I don't think she's a bad person, just kinda tone deaf and emotionally unintelligent. I also hope this gets resolved because I hate doing social media. So, yeah, sympathy mixed with self interest, lol.

I'm the OP of the original confession. Just found out (via her Facebook posts) that she and six friends drove to see another friend at a touristy spot about five hours away. I've seen pics of food, drinks, and jet skis, along with shopping bags. Oh and a thank you to her daughter for 'helping' make it happen. She borrowed money from her daughter for a weekend vacation.

I don't understand why people feel the need to list their chores and errands that they accomplished that day on facebook. No, I don't need to know every room you cleaned in your house, the bills you paid or the trip to the grocery store. Not sure if they are needing a pat on the back for being an adult or what the heck is going on but it sure is annoying.

Holy shit. So I went against my instinct and accepted a friend request off someone in a facebook group I'm in, even though we've never actually spoken. Twenty minutes later she starts posting racist propaganda videos. Note to self, always listen to instincts. If you can't even be bothered to message someone to say hi and maybe have a little chat before you friend each other, from now on I'm just going to assume you're friend collecting. Buh bye, racist bitch!

I have a friend that only refers to her son as "the boy" and so does his dad. It doesn't matter if it is text, phone, facebook or face to face it is still "the boy". They are very good doting parents who love him very much but I just find it strange to never call your child by name. He has very low self esteem and struggles socially and academically. I sometimes wonder if it psychologically affects him and that is the reason he struggles. What makes it even more weird is their obsession with their dog. She posts and talks about the dog and calls him by name and never says the dog. The "dog" even posts facebook statues about his daily adventures. When she posts on local fb pages she frequently speaks of the dog as if it is a human. She speaks as if the dog is a child and the child is an animal. Their previous dog had his own fb page and that dog gets tagged in all their pictures. So very weird.

I have a person I work with that I strongly dislike. I am always professional and polite but I am sick of her. I'm not the only one. She's a bully who has been a problem employee for many years. She's a shoemaker, doesn't know an Oxford comma from a hole in her ass. Her writing sucks and she microwaves fish in the office. She coughs without covering her mouth and I have to correct the spelling/grammar of her Facebook posts. I can forgive ettiquette or spelling/grammars mistakes but not both at the same time.
