I've read 10 books over the last two weeks. One of those books was 800 pages. God, I love reading. Not only do I love reading I love talking about books with people. I love recommending something and having that person enjoy it as much as me. I love having someone suggest a book to me and I find a new great author. I'm going to the library today to return all my books because I go back to school on Monday and I won't be able to do the amount of fun reading that I've done over the last couple of weeks. I will pick out two new books and that's it. Ok, maybe three. Well, probably four.

I don't think most disabled peopleare lazy. I do think that there are a lot of doctors out there who don't question disability paperwork enough before they sign it. My MIL gets disabiity because a job would be "too stressful"for her. Yet she makes crafts and sells them off the books. She just had to find a doctor willing to sign her paperwork.

If you can't be funny without insuting someone, then you're lowbrow and unintelligent. Try reading some fucking books and then maybe you'll learn how to be funny without insulting people. Or just get back to your world of racist, homophobe, ableist, sexist rape and dead baby jokes if you prefer.

I like to buy my used books from Abebooks online. Very reputable, and frequently the same shops that sell on Amazon. I recomend Abe to my students, too.

Can anyone recommend a reputable website to buy used textbooks? I tried Amazon but they're the same price as the college bookstore.

Thank you, family member, for the lovely knick knacks for Christmas. Hey, before you pull them from your bookshelf, can you please clean off the layer of dust on them and maybe take the old potpourri out of the potpourri holder you gave us? Then the message becomes "I thought of you" vs. "You were a last minute thought. Here's some shit from my bookshelf, even though you don't have any knick knacks in your house."

When I was 12 I was a very fast reader and my parents couldn't afford to buy a lot of books, worked long hours and couldn't travel to the library. I had already read several of my dad's books that he allowed me to. So whenever I went to my aunt's I borrowed her trashy romance novels (the "historical" ones) and she gave me bags at a time because it would take me 3 hours to read though one. I never raised my hand in class in history when I thought I knew an answer because I read those books. 9 out of 10 times I could have because they were spot on. I just never knew if the character was real or fictional until I read about it in history class.

I'm 36. People are ALWAYS saying I look much younger. Like 34. It is soooo exasperating. I have to correct them, "Ha ha ha, I know I look thirty four, but I swear I'm thirty six!" I look my age. Fine with me. I've had a great time getting here. Too much time at the beach in the sun, playing outside sweating off my sunscreen, laughing too much, drinking too much, smoking, spending too much time with friends and not enough exercising, too much time reading books and not enough on a treadmill, too much good food eaten with friends and family...it was all worth it.

I often joke about how my husband and I are an odd couple. He is really smart, reads huge scholarly books, and loves classical music. I also like classical music and the arts but have a huge appreciation for Brittany Spears and all things pop and trashy, especially trashy romance novels. Well, I just got him hooked on the Night Huntress series and can't stop giggling over it.

When I was younger there was this awesome romance book I was reading called Impulse . I took it to school with me one day and my classmate took it from me, started passing it around the room and the teacher took it. Well I was to embarrassed to ask for it back. I have been Googling this book off and on for a couple years and today I finally found it ! I have been using the same search info the whole time lol (lots of books by that name). I can't wait to order it and see if its as good as I remember.
