I have one big regret and need to find a way to be OK about it. Twenty-five years ago I suspected that our neighbor was molesting his teenage daughters. There were three girls, and all three admitted that it happened. It stopped when they turned 18 (and all three moved out within weeks of their birthdays), but they talked openly with me about what he did. I pleaded with them to go to the police, and all three refused. I still have such horrible guilt over it, even though the girls refused to have him arrested. I actually have dreams that I see their molester and stab him to death!

OMG, has anyone seen that video that the Indiana police found on that guy's cell phone? The baby with the gun?? That piece of shit needs to have his kids taken away like, yesterday. What a complete waste of flesh.

I am begging everyone here to please take a minute and research the Rodney Reed. He is most likely an innocent man set to be executed in a few weeks in Texas. The victim's fiancee at the time was a cop. He is also now in prison for brutally raping a woman while on duty and in uniform. DNA belonging to his friend (also a cop) was found at the scene but never introduced in court. The police obviously covered up for one of their own. Many people involved in Rodney Reed's conviction were also involved in the conviction of Anthony Graves, an innocent man who spent 20 years on death row before being exonerated. Please, please, please do the research and do something. Write to the Governor. The more people who know about this case, the less the corrupt officials involved can ignore it.

Why not call the news stations before the cat dies? Slide a tin of water under the door? Where is your neighbor, it's their cat.? Police should be able to help. Animal control might take cat to the pound to die. Sometimes a vet's office will send someone (did for me). Please help this cat.

To the OP with the cat locked in a door. Call Animal Control or the Police. They will come get the cat out. I hate to think of the cat being trapped somewhere.

For the OP on the apathetic Germans: I am a first generation American. My mom immigrated from Germany as an adult in the mid 60s. She remembered WWII. She was 9 when the war ended. *I* have the guilt associated with that horrible time. Her dad was older and did not serve in the military. He was a local police officer and they were in a very small town. He was taken away at the end of the war and was gone for months. I am not sure where you have found this "information" about Germans being apathetic towards what they did to the 6 million plus people during the war. I don't have any more family that I can ask.....What I do know is they collectively have the guilt. I am not sure what is going on with the young people there right now. I would venture to guess not so much (guilt) or we would not see the demonstrations we are seeing. But the older people, they have it. I was raised to never forget. Treat everyone fairly. Separation of church and state. My mom sent my brother and I to Temple, Catholic and Mormon services -with friends from school so we could experience how other people worship. We were protestant. FWIW, I and my 14yo dd watch stuff about that time and things like Schindler's list. We talk about how this must never happen again. But you know what? It's happening right now somewhere in the world. Sorry this is so long. Your anger is justified. What I would say to you is take that energy and fight for the injustices that are going on RIGHT NOW.

Il guess the reason I'm so bitter about the abusive woman subject is because I was phically abused as a child. No, I didn't have much of a choice in the matter. Even went to school in grade 3 with not one but two black eyes. Was too young to know it was wrong and thought the vanilla extract smelt great (my mother would put that over the black eyes) and thought it was my own fault. So if you're a grown woman theres no excuse. Get out and call the police.
