Actual excerpts from Trump's speeches are so embarrassingly bad that it's painful. He can't speak, he can't put a sentence together, he doesn't sound coherent, I mean it's just ridiculous. Even if you supported his platform how on earth can you find this guy suitable for president? The fact that Republicans thought "yeah, this guy will work" just shows that the party is disintegrating badly. Where I live it was predominantly Trump voters with a handful of Bernie and Hillary supporters. A lot of the Trump signs have disappeared, my friends who are Republican have stopped posting political stuff on their Facebook and there is just a basic understanding that we don't talk about this stuff, not only to avoid arguments but because I know they no longer support their president The only people I see you still supporting him we're not friends of mine because they are bigoted and hateful.

Joint Facebook? Puke. I'd rather not do FB at all. These people probably still have their own accounts & just block their spouses.

We know a couple who have a joint Facebook account, and I asked her why. It's a trust issue....he accused her of cheating and insisted on it.

Silly confession of the day: I think it's so bizarre when a couple shares a facebook account. And the name is something like Dickandmary Poppins. It just screams insecurity.

Has anyone attended any of those online facebook "parties" where they said they were doing a free giveaway at the end, but they never ended up doing the giveaway? I attended one last week where it was only me and one other person, plus the host. We were told the winner would be announced Friday...it is now Sunday. The other person said they haven't heard anything either. I'm curious if this is a common occurrence to bait people.

As an indie author, I appreciate this more than you know. I rely on reviews. When you're not backed by a large publishing house, reviews are your bread and butter. Hell, even authors who do have a publisher still have to promote their work, and online reviews can make you or break you. When I read some misspelled drivel, calling out the author over petty stuff, it makes my blood boil. That's the reality of the business, though. And Goodreads is, believe it or not, worse than Amazon. Ever read Facebook comments on a political post? It's like that, only instead of arguing over Trump, it's over books.

Some people get too tied up in Facebook. All worried about who friended or unfriended you? Or what they post and you don't? It's not the whole world, OK?

I deactivated my Facebook account after learning about an old friend's wedding coming up. I am feeling so envious of people that have their relationship figured out, whereas I just had another emotional fight with BF. It doesn't help that I feel like life sucks. He wants to help me feel better, but I can't seem to let him.
