Fuck me. MIL from hell is coming tomorrow. Thank sweet buttery baby jesus she's staying here for 2 day and then meeting DH's dad at a hotel and staying there for the next two weeks.

OMG bossman, why did you bring your kid to work? Is this going to be a thing now? Jesus H Christ and I thought your not showing up was bad. Now? Five year old kid in my workspace. That's worse. This is not a daycare. Oh, or is it? I forgot, you're the boss so you can make the place whatever you want it to be. So... is it a daycare now? I thought it was an office. Fuck, you know? I used to really love this job. Now.. he hardly ever shows up and when he does he's on the phone most of the day. And I'm left to do my job with absolutely no support. And at this point he doesn't even pretend to care. And now... he's brought his kid in. Between this and the fact that I have exactly one other coworker and she drives me batshit fucking crazy.... yeah not loving my job. Not motivated to do it well, that's for sure.

My DS20 is so much like his dad, and DD16 is so much like me. DS is really chill and charming (lazy and shiftless) and DD is driven and goal oriented (picky and controlling). Jesus. What do we do to our kids, ya know?

Since Caitlyn Jenner came out, I'm tired of people speaking for God. "God is so mad right now" "God is unhappy". How do you know He's mad? How do you know He's unhappy? He told you? Well if that's the case, He told me different; He told me not to be judgmental and love thy neighbor. Who are we to say what God thinks of Caitlyn or anyone else for that matter? It's not our business. That's between God and them. Do you have a mirror? Go look into it and tell me what God thinks of you. Oh, He thinks you're perfect and Christ-Like?..funny because perfect people like Jesus and God don't judge and aren't cruel.

OMG make it stop. MIL got a Facebook and is going through ALL of our pictures all the way back and making ridiculous, sometimes embarrassing comments. Anything patriotic or about current events in the Middle East (we're both veterans) gets something like, "You watch it, ISIS supporters, my son and dil are coming to get you!" in all caps and with USA! and gun emojis. My friend posted a pic on my wall of something she bought for her dsd - something she knows I love - and MIL writes, "My son can outdo any gift another guy gives you girl, isn't that right, (dh)?" She even joined a page for a veteran's event we're attending and said, "My son and dil were here!" Um...it's next month. Jesus Christ.

Had the fix it guys come from on campus to our building. I work for the state of California & they moved my building to a warehouse up the road. Fix it guy introduced himself. Sweet Jesus, he was cute!!!! We don't have any cute guys here. He looked to be about 20 yrs old. I'm 44 & married. At least he was of legal age. I can't imagine a 44 woman lusting over my 20 yr old son. :/

Child beauty pageants are disgusting. I hate how they've turned dance into a hooker parade now too. Jesus Christ. The fucking makeup on these little kids and the outfits? FFS. I'm not a prude or overly modest, but the outfits make me cringe. I wouldn't let my daughter wear the outfits or makeup if I had a daughter in dance. No fucking way.

First thing this morning, on the news, there was video coverage of a pretty messy car accident where they zoomed in on the guy inside his vehicle while a crew pried him out. I know the news stations are all about trying to cover everything with as much detail as possible, but jesus christ, that man was seriously injured and should have had a lot more privacy than he did! Back off, we don't need to see the gory details as they unfold. ESPECIALLY without a fucking warning that the following footage is pretty awful.

I used to be staunchly pro-life. Until I realized what it really meant. I realized it's not my right or job to tell another woman how far she's willing to sacrifice for anything. It's not my job to force a ten year old rape victim to go through things her mind and body aren't ready for, things that will probably end in a c-section because her body is immature -- a major surgery! You're raping her all over again. It's no one else's right to make the decision. Is abortion wrong? I'm even on the edge about that now. My husband and i consulted the bible, which has no clear answer. Jesus and John leapt for joy in utero... but the bible makes no clear definition of when life begins. And it describes a condoned abortion ritual for cheating wives. And the unborn baby is treated as property, not family in the bible. I've come to recognize too many grey areas to be able to, in good conscience, vote against anything on that one single issue.
