All day long, patients bitch at me because our office currently has a no visitor policy. Unless the patient has some sort of documented reason (has a legal POA, dementia/Altzheimers, mentally disabled, etc), they must be by themselves during their appointment due to covid. We've gotten creative with FaceTime and speakerphone. We don't like it anymore than they do. I'm just so tired of being bitched out because "my husband has NEVER been to an appointment by himself!" Well, if the moron Trump voters would wear a mask, stay home, and get vaccinated our state wouldn't be in the red. Until then, we will protect our doctors, staff, and other patients.

Biden wasn't in office long before screwing everything up. tens of thousands of people are out of work after he promised he wouldn't stop the pipeline and did it anyway (he's always saying 1 thing and doing another), pissed off Canada (which that in itself is hard to do) to the point where they don't want to do business with the US, he signed to increase insulin and epi-pen prices back to insane amounts. gas prices going up. Other countries feel sorry for us. Even they agree Trump was better for us. If you're not for America, then leave. Take your communism to China. The left wants to take Trump voters children away and put us all in "re-education camps" If you think that's ok, you're a communist. They're already taking free speech and have been trying to take away the 2nd amenment.

If you can nominate and confirm a supreme court justice in a week, you can impeach Trump in 10 days. Do it. No pardons. No chance of him ever running for office again. No pension. No annual travel allowance for the rest of his life. Just get him out and let the indictments begin.

Well. My idiot BIL has COVID and so does my 12 yo nephew. His birthday is tomorrow and they have to isolate/quarantine until two weeks from today. They STILL want to have his birthday party next weekend! Um, NO. WTF is wrong with people? I suppose it has to do with them being Trumpers who think COVID is made-up and not a big deal.

So many bad actors in all of this, from the Republicans who refused to speak up when Trump started all this nonsense before the election, to the scores of "political commentators" and pundits across various social media sites who basically got rich helping to radicalize these people. Now they're all pretending they condemn this shit on Twitter, when they spent YEARS telling these angry people that feminists and "cultural Marxism" were destroying the country, that they were the true liberals because they were standing up for "free speech," that white people, especially white men, were entitled to everything they want at the expense of everybody else. People like Stephen Crowder, Ben Shapiro, Prager U, all of them had a part to play in this. What started out as "feminist cringe" turned real dark, real fast, and everyone on the opposite side of the culture war has been seeing where this was heading for years.

While the rest of the world watched what was happening in DC in horror, you can bet Trump was watching and saying, "Aren't they great? Look how much they love me? Look how all of those people love me!" He knew this was going to happen. He wanted this to happen. He could have had the Nat'l Guard lined up the before this even started, like he did when BLM protested. But he didn't want to stop it. He is a sociopath, and he's dangerous. I hate to compare anyone to Hitler, since my family lost a lot of people in the Holocaust. But it is eerily similar. Biden needs to declare the Proud Boys and QAnon terrorist groups and act accordingly. Because even when Trump is gone, there are still millions of people who think just like him. And they will kill anyone who doesn't.
