So I'm dogsitting for someone who is here through the summer working on a film. She's not allowed to have her dog on set. She couldn't tell me the name of the movie that's being filmed here but she told me who the main star is. I don't want to say who it is, just in case. But, he's been a fav actor of mine since the 90s. The man does not age at all. She said I could meet him if I wanted to. As much as I would love to, I'm very awkward and my brain shuts down when I'm excited to meet someone. I declined. Maybe I'll change my mind later. I'm def going to tell her if he brings his dog(s), I'll watch them! I'm sure he has a personal assistant for that tho lol

My neighbor got a new gf and moved her in right away. Him and I are friends, him and my DH have known each other since they were teens. I go out to walk my dogs, they're outside. I introduce myself to his gf (I had gotten to know his last gf too), we all talk for about 10 minutes, she seems really cool. Last night I get home, she's sitting outside flipping through her phone, I say "Hey, hows it going?", she mean mugged me and said with attitude "B***, I don't F*** with you". Stunned, I just walk inside my house. DH said she might think I want her man. lol

I only have one coworker and we're facebook friends. My boss and I decided years ago not to be facebook friends though. I'm facebook friends with a few of my favorite clients, too. Not many, but a few. But my facebook is pretty benign. Family pics and Star Trek stuff mostly. And dog pictures. Lots and lots of pictures of my dogs. I try not to let my page get too political. Like, I would post EVERYONE VOTE, not EVERYONE VOTE FOR (insert candidate). But I don't mind saying it here: Trump is a repugnant human being and I'm over the moon that he lost.

I didn't get the $800/mo client. For what she was needing, the total charge would be $1200/mo but she asked if I'd do $800. I accepted. She came to let her dogs mine. It was chaos, she didn't listen at all. I kept telling her "let them off the leash in the house so they can sniff each other", instead she kept pulling them back away from my dogs, hard, which ticked her dogs off and they started fighting each other. Dogs act protective with their owner around, and also when they're on leashes (cuz they're restricted). I kept telling her how to rectify it, but she did the opposite and things kept getting worse. I offered to take them over night one night for free so I can properly introduce them. But she's going to look for someone else. So now I'm going to do a video on my webpage explaining the dos and donts on introducing dogs. In all my years I've never had this big of an issue.

I am sad because my son, DIL & DGD have moved. :( They used to live close by, like a ten minute drive. They live an hour and half away now, so I don't get to see DGD any time, I have to make arrangements ahead of time. And sometimes it doesn't work out, and I haven't seen her in almost three weeks. I haven't seen DS in even longer because he's working all the time. Freaking BOO! Also, my daughter lives in the same area so I hardly ever get to see her either. She's 21 and living her best life and not thinking about her mom much. Which is to be expected, but I still miss her. I miss all of them. Is this my life now? Nobody around but DH and the dogs, and I've never been so bored in my entire life.

I'm about ready to murder DH. We just got groceries yesterday and I planned on corn dogs for dinner tonight. Fast and easy for a Sunday night. When I mentioned it at 6:00, he said he DOESN'T LIKE CORN DOGS. WTF DUDE!! We've been married since 2007, have had corn dogs periodically through the years, and NOW you tell me you don't like them?

It's legal where I am too. We grow our own, distill it into BHO, and make edibles out of it. Mostly chocolates. However, we're going to try making some broth gummies for our dogs. It works so well for them, our aging mastiff with bad hips gets real rest and relief, and our little anxiety-ridden Boston Terrier can actually be calm during fireworks, storms, and even a nail-clipping. And it really helps me with anxiety and sleep too. We have vape pens, but I don't like them. I like the edibles at about 10mg per serving.

OP with the broken sewing machine here. I will be 46. So, not in my 20s. Lol. The tat I want to get is a memorial to my dogs that I lost with flowers and each dog represented as a butterfly. I have wanted it for years. I will still get it, but right now I'm going to buy the sewing machine. I'll just save up again for the tattoo next year. I think at this point in my life I'm capable of knowing whether a tattoo is right for me.

For the love of tacos, do not let someone watch your dog if it has fleas! Putting a flea collar on it from Walmart isn't going to work! Anything you get off the shelf isn't going to work properly. Always go to a vet for flea killer and prevention. Expensive, but it's worth it. Now I have to spend money out of my own pocket to de-flea my house, it'll cost more than I made for watching the dog. I let the client know, he got defensive "but we spray our yard and he has a flea collar". None of the other dogs I was watching had fleas, and neither did mine. First time in 3 years of watching dogs that someones dog came with fleas.
