How do you report someone who is calling for the age of consent on children to 11, along with making porn legal to the police? The site his shit is hosted on doesn't care because his "freedom of speech", but this guy sounds like he's already crossed the line. Do I call MY local PD? Do I try and find out what his local PD is? Will the police even care?

DH had to meet his ex at the passport office to get SS passport done. They kept DH's birth certificate temporarily and said they would mail it back. For some reason they mailed it back to his ex's house. She won't give it back until DH gives her 80.00 for SS hiphop dance class (that DH is not required to pay for according to the divorce agreement) and answers some email from last June that she claims he never answered. He went back to June emails could not find any unanswered email and asked her what is was about. She won't tell him, just said keep looking. I told DH he should call the police. If they can't do anything he should give her the stupid 80.00 ask her about the email again then deduct it from the next child support check. DH has health problems and can't deal with this shit!!!

I don't think I've ever fully processed my husband punching me, grabbing me, struggling with me across the room, throwing me up against a wall... I left him that day. I tell myself it just wasn't that bad. Certainly not bad enough to call the police. And I'm fine. I got out! The bruises were small. But it's been four years and sometimes I end up in tears when I think about it. That wasn't love. That was never love. You don't treat people you love like that. But it's hard not to feel devalued by the whole experience.

Also, silently having an opinion is judging and shaming now? Puh-lease. Who are you, the thought police?

If your neighbors dog is consistently terrorizing you and your dog, and the police won't do anything and neither will anyone else, I dont see anything wrong with bringing the dog to the pound or reporting it as a stray. In some states you can shoot a dog you feel is a threat.

My neighbor's dog has come after my dog and I a few times. They won't keep him on a leash for some reason. Next time that dog is running loose, I am tempted to pick him up, take him to a pound a few towns over and tell them I picked him up as a stray. My dog is elderly and has back issues, I have back issues myself from a car accident, and I am tired of the bullshit. The homeowners association has been notified and does nothing. . The dog has also almost gotten hit by cars several times, and has been missing for days at a time. The police won't do anything because the complex is considered private property. Animal control won't do anything unless they see the dog running loose.

My husband shot at me and tried to pass it off as a joke. But he shot at me. We are no longer married because I figured it was just a matter of time before he "forgot" to turn the gun away from me at the last second. I could have had him arrested for it but couldn't get to a phone and was afraid he'd start shooting again before the police got there.

We had to call the police last night as someone broke into our car. We caught him while he was still in my car. He was tripping on something. Said he was hiding from zombies. When he got out of our fully fenced in yard he went down to our neighbors car (neighbors are quite a ways down the road) he tried to get into their car. As soon as we heard someone outside I called the police so I was following him at a distance down the road while on the phone with dispatch. I kept an eye on him until the police got him. My dad is a police officer in a different city so I know if I bring cookies without them knowing for sure who I am, they will politely accept them and then throw them away, so I'm waiting for my dad to give me the go ahead to bring cookies to them. The police were great, responded quickly and looked at the few cars he had come in contact with to make sure there was no damage and they don't get enough recognition for the good that they do.

The community pages I'm part of on FB are full of missing dogs who "unexpectedly" took off during the fireworks last night. Nope, sorry, humane societies, police departments, vets, etc have been posting for a week that dogs will bolt and to keep them inside. Irresponsible owners make me so mad.
