My husband and I are opposites. He's a vet that loves country living and yoga. I am a cross fit loving, animal detesting city girl. He's a vegan and I'm all about bacon. He's an atheist and Jesus is my homeboy. We've been married 7 years, and couldn't be any happier.

A woman I work with and who "friended" me on FB (now regret it) is ALWAYS posting about Jesus, spreading the word and spreading HIs Love. Yet she treats some people at work so awfully..she is a real mean girl. How do you reconcile the "Do Unto Others' with that kind of behavior?

Goodness I can't stand my cousin. She pitched a fit at my wedding because DH and I had a nonreligious ceremony after we converted away from Christianity. We said our Buddhist vows and that was it. Now she sent me a ceramic cross and some kind of laminated prayer as a "thinking of you" gift. The gesture is nice, but can you knock it off with the religious stuff? I donated the cross to Goodwill. Now she wants to know why I "don't love Jesus". It's none of your business.

Please somebody come get my husband! He's getting on my god-damn nerves!!! Please give him a job, please get him some friends and a life! I had to sit here and tell him to stop picking at a scab! He's become like a fucking kid, and I've become like a parent!! JESUS CHRIST!!

When I was a kid I was not allowed to disagree with my parents about anything. When I was 15 I started questioning the religion I was brought up in but didint dare do it out loud. As soon as I turned 18 I stopped going to church, literally the first Sunday after my 18th birthday. I believed in God and Jesus being His son, and dying for our sins, accepting the gift of eternal life, but I did not think church was necessary, and 30 years later I still don't go. "Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God"(John3:5) "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Stop invalidating people's feelings just because their situations aren't yours. You're broke? So what! That doesn't make OP a spoiled brat just because made she wanted more than a fucking flower for her birthday. Jesus, people.

I stopped believing in (a) god a while ago. I just give it up to the Universe and whoever is running it, and that HOPEFULLY, my life will work out however it's supposed to. Of course, I can't tell everyone I don't have a religion or believe in jesus or god because they would go berserk. Some would try to convert or re-indoctrinate me (used to be involved in religion a while ago), and I'm not having that anymore.

Husband had an interview today. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE LET HIM GET HIRED!!! Please and thank you to the Creator/Universe/Spirit/god/goddess/jesus/Buddha/BENEVOLENT GODS - whomever is running the Milky Way Galaxy. Our karmic good needs to come back to us because we have been suffering for far too long.

Things I don't get- why do people act resentful of contractors who are working in their home? You paid this guy to come and re-grout your tile, right? Did you think that this was going to be anything but a noisy, dusty, time consuming process? I've had guys working in my house for a month at a time. It's a small house. No privacy when people are working there, but I know better than to be mad at them. Jesus, people are so fucking illogical.

Is anyone else getting the mormon.org ads? I'm not religious, but it really really bothers me that they have a picture portraying Jesus as a blue-eyed white dude.
