Some of the free books on bookbub aren't very good. You get what you pay for! I like series where the first book is free and the others are a sliding scale, like maybe $.99, $1.99, etc. A good author doesn't often give away books because they're usually good enough that people will pay for them. Writers need to make a living like all the rest of us.

if you have an e-reader (kindle, nook, etc) you should "like" the facebook page called Bookbub (all one word) everyday they post a link with 5 or 6 FREE books that you can download to your ereader. (yes, the books they list are 100% FREE! (they also have some very heavily discounted books!) check it out! I have gotten so many free books from their page! enjoy!!!

I got books 1-3 of the Kingdom collection (grownup fairytales) on Amazon's top free yesterday. Although i couldn't get into the big bad wolf one, the other two were fantastic. I think I'm seriously in love with the mad hatter. Looking for a good book with at least one good sex scene?? That's it. The book itself is amazing even if you take out the sex. Js. Lol.

It's great to know that parenting classes and therapy are a guarantee that your kids will never bite and pull knives on each other. I've taken parenting classes as well as behavior management courses for educators and studied many books on behavior, discipline, setting limits, and psychology. In addition, the kids and I have been in therapy for many years. I think someone owes me a refund...

I hate clutter and my spouse wants to save everything. EVERY. THING. We have shelves and shelves of books no one looks at, hundreds of DVDs, clothes no one wears, boxes of glasses and silverware we haven't touched in over a decade. I want to donate everything but it will lead to a big fight. "We might need that someday" or "The kids may want that someday". I hate living like this

I'm an obsessive reader and there is nothing I enjoy more than having book discussions. I love getting recommendations and recommending books to people. I used to buy them all the time, new and used, but I'm running out of room in my bookshelves so now I mostly do the library. I give away books to friends to make room. I'm reading Life after Life by Kate Atkinson atm, it's very good and interesting. I have to go to the library tomorrow.

Regarding books...I haven't read the books but I saw the Hunger Games, all of them, and now I'm hooked! Bf is even hooked on the movies now and of course we're looking forward to the next movie to come out in theaters. One of my favorite books that I've loved since middle school: Flowers for Algernon. It's a great read. I love suspense-thriller books though.

Love the Anne of green gables series. Harry Potter, lord of the rings, and chronicles of Narnia. Eat, pray, love. All of Gene Stratton Porter's books. And I usually get lucky and pick up good Indie writers on Amazon's top 100 free Kindle books. The Alex the Fey series was awesome, I thought, (military action books), and of course I love the Higgins Clark ladies mystery/thrillers. And Dan Brown's books. Have never gotten the guts to read Stephen King. Lol. I do love to read though, obviously.

New trending topic: Books. Series of books. I love series that seem never ending. My most recent series to finish was Wicked. I was just totally captivated by that story. I even went to the Broadway show. Right now I'm on a big Stephen King kick but my reading is slow. I actually don't care for It. What books or series do you like?

I was reading up on the book To Train Up a Child. Wow. Incredible. Definitely child abuse. These authors (The Pearls) have many other books. One book was basically talking about a woman and what her place is. It even said she will learn the appreciation that her husband is gift from God to her. Oh please.
