When I was in middle school, a group of girls were circulating "Forever" by Judy Blume. My mom found it and threw it out. She was a staunch Catholic and thought the best way to deal with sex was to not talk about it..just pretend it didn't exist. By throwing out that book she made me feel dirty and of course, guilty. My curiosity got the best of me though (plus, all the girls were talking about it) and I found another copy and read it just to spite her.

Let BIL know what places we've been to are hiring. I'm looking for a job and since his vehicle is a little broken down he has only left out place twice. Once to check the mail and once to get a part for his truck. So I figure if I tell him what places are hiring and have you apply online he could start applying now without risking his truck breaking down completely. He poo-pooed a job at the gas station and now I'm a little irritated. Sure, it probably starts at minimum wage ($8/h&r here) but they are offering full time positions, with benefits like a 401k, paid holidays, and medical insurance. I haven't seen any other help wanted signs advertise what they're offering but I haven't seen another company so willing to hand those things out in years! He says at that pay all his money will go towards gas like the last job he had that started him out that low. This place is literally right across the street. Not only will it cost allost nothing in gas but if his truck does crap out completely he can still get to work without being dependant on the car dh and I share. Whatever though, I applied there. And i mentioned my application to someone who said they'd tell their boss. Dh and I have talked and we will give BIL till the 15th of December to slack off. We don't want to be too pushy like everyone else he has lived with, but we cannot afford to support him forever. And $320 a week is $320 more than he is making right now...

2 thing that inevitably must be done today, but I do not want to do: clean house (including laundry), get ready to go back to work after a 4 day weekend. I don't like being an adult. Whoever told me this crap was fun is a big liar!! I want to build a blanket fort with my kid and color fairies forever. Lol.

The only thing I can't stand to see on Facebook is gruesome pictures (people or animals that have been severely injured, stuff like that). I try to either scroll past it quickly, or hide it, but it still takes forever for those images to leave my brain. And, this really doesn't make sense, but seeing stuff like that in person doesn't bother me. I used to work at a vet's office, and am now a first responder, and it doesn't affect me like seeing the pictures.

My least favourite childfree bingo...."you're too young to make the decision not to have kids". So, I'm old enough to have a kid and have everything in my life change forever, but not old enough to decide that I don't want one? How does that even make sense?

My son would be 13 today if he hadn't passed away. 13. Where did those years go? It seems like forever ago and just yesterday all at once. What I wouldn't give to be able to have seen him grow up. I dreamt about him last night. Usually when I dream of him, he is still 7 weeks old, and it's a replay of the night he died. Last night, it was like a fast forward of him growing up. I saw him at age 2 and 5, and 7 and 10 and 13. I got to see him with his little sisters and little brother. I woke up this morning and just wanted to go back to dreamland for a little bit. I wasn't ready to let him go again.

Most of my marriage was really good, but it ended in divorce. Now a few years later I think I'm starting to romanticize about just how good it was. Yes, our relationship was good and we got along well for the most part, but something went wrong and it ended. So it obviously wasn't as wonderful as I'm remembering. The whole physical affection part was missing. I can't forget that. And I can't forget that HE didn't want to stay together forever.

Smug Cousin Alert. I have been avoiding her because she drives me crazy but there was a party for my aunt. So, smug cousin goes on about the unique name that she gave her daughter. She goes on about how HER name is so unique. This could have gone on forever if not for the fact that my grandmother drunkenly pointed out that Smug Cousin's name is actually a shortened version of my own. Smug Cousin looks horrified when I point out that a lot of people consider her name as my nickname. I had to smugly say "So, its like your name is just the generic brand of mine!"

Retail lady: I used to work for the same store as you. All that crap you just had to do for me that took forever and pissed off both of us? That's precisely why they teach you to do the returns FIRST. I think you should remember that or else it's gonna be a long ass holiday season for you.

Have you ever done anything reeeaaalllyyy stupid, but you know if you told anyone that it would hurt them more than just keeping it to yourself? Yeah. Being there sucks. And it's not like I can take back the stupid things. Nope. Stuck with them forever.
