I didn't have any special plans for the 4th but a friend called me and said a mutual friend was going to be dressed as Batman for a local small town's parade. We had a blast! It was a bunch of random people dressed up and throwing candy, with police cars and fire trucks making crazy noises with their sirens. At the very end of the parade was the town's garbage truck (singular) with streamers and balloons on it. It was awesome! Reminded me of the 4th in town where I grew up and made me nostalgic for a second. (History is an angel being blown backwards into the future.)

It's not a rough day I'm talking about, moron. Rough life. And it's obvious when you look around - it's everywhere. You say it's rude to name call, but then you do the same thing. Hypocrite. Pretty sad when you come to a site to confess but you can't even do that cause some uptight biatch has to whine and cry about everything. Grow up. Are you the confession police? People are going to say what they feel. How do you make it in life with such thin skin.

Woke up from my nap and looked at my phone. I had a VM from an "unknown" number. I figured it was a telemarketer but listened to the VM anyways. "This is Officer Bob Smith with the Police Department". I FREAKED OUT thinking my fiance and his boss had been in a wreck (we have only been in this city 4 months and they're the only people I know). Turned out it was about a dispatcher application I put in. Phew.

What a writer sees to write about? For starters, grown kids that move in with their parents and won't move out, so they put a litter box in his bathroom. He then gets ticked off, moves out, and starts cross dressing. He sees someone on the street and licks her face. She hits him in self-defense (despite it not being PC to hit a trans-whatever with breasts, a penis and a big purse). She gets hauled off to jail and her parents won't bail her out because they're Alzheimers and she's their only means of transport, so they can't get down to the police station. In the meantime, the grown kid's mother has an emotional-only affair with a work buddy and his father moves out with the cat, the litter box, and gets an account on Pinterest. You don't think there's a novel here???

I don't see what the big deal is about signing in to post. There's still an option to remain anonymous. I also don't see why people want to bicker about rudeness and anonymity, but never, ever leave comments open. I know I'm not the board police. I'm not saying it shouldn't be allowed, but that kind of thing just seems to take away any validity from the point the posters are trying to make, like you're afraid to have people disagree with you or can't stand behind your words. I'm only referring to the types of posts that are bickering between users. It's perfectly understandable to leave comments closed on confessions or other random posts. I know this post seems snarky, but I don't mean any harm. I just genuinely don't see the point.

If we now have to police our parter's sexual thoughts and deem them to be cheating because they take a liking to someone else that they never do anything with, I think I'll choose to be celibate from now on. People cannot help their thoughts, and not being around the person won't help (if cutting them out of your life is even a possibility).

I am driving 35 mi. home from a party. Husband has been drinking. On the way home he starts grabbing me, making rude comments, wants a blow job in the car. I tell him to stop it and that I cannot drive if he keeps it up. He continues touching my breasts, forcing his hand between my legs, etc. {FYI: What is sexual assault? Assault is the intentional use of force against somebody without his or her consent. Trying to use force or threatening to use force may also be assault. Touching, slapping, punching, kicking or pushing are examples of assault. Sexual assault is any kind of assault that is of a sexual nature. Grabbing someone's breast and sexual intercourse without a person’s consent are examples of sexual assault.) I keep pushing him away. Finally I pull off hwy. in front of a decrepit motel north of our town and say that he can drive, I can no longer do it under these circumstances. He gets out of the car, stumbles around to the driver's side, gets behind the wheel, says he cannot drive because he might get picked up for DUI. He gets out and returns to the passenger seat. Reluctantly I resume my position behind the wheel and pull back onto the highway. He continues his obnoxious behavior, and I repeatedly tell him to leave me alone. I think about driving to the police station but discard the idea because I don't want to deal with the aftermath of that and we're almost home. Finally about a mile from our house, I stop the car. I say I can no longer drive safely with him grabbing at me and one of us needs to get out of the car. I am prepared to get out, but he does. I drive away and soon arrive home, where I leave the door unlocked so he can get in. I lock myself in the guest bedroom. He walks home and goes to sleep in our room.

I have been a sexual abuse victim. I don't understand why the women who are making a fuss about their colleges not responding to their complaints about rape/abuse from their fellow students didn't just go to the police. it's a legal matter and the court system can handle it. I certainly think colleges should be responsive, but it's not like they should be pressing charges. The women should. I wish they would so the guys would go to jail.

Oh, thank you, Katy Perry, for making "epic fail" a popular phrase. (Sarcasm) I feel like such an old lady because I cringe when people use "fail" as a noun instead of "failure". I'm coming to grips with it though, especially since people I like are saying it now. I don't wanna be the grammar police, busting up the party, so I'll sit in my old lady rocker and shake my fist at the television set. Lol.
