I can't stand working with people in their 20's. They think the world revolves around them. Today, in a meeting, the manager asked a 25ish "woman" to read a passage to the group. She said, "No, I am in a bad mood, and I only want to listen today" I would have sent her home. The manager just asked someone else to read. Another "woman" the same age gets very emotional and/or defense about weird things. She wanted to see some training notes I had from another meeting. We were told not to share training notes. She said, "Never mind, the notes are obviously very personal to you" and turned her back to me like a petulant child.Prior to that, she practically cried when she disagreed with a company policy about building security. Yes, little snowflake, you do need your security badge on at all times.. I cannot wait to retire and get away from these special snowflakes. 75% of them are whiny and defensive.

DH's EXDW sent SS to our house over the weekend and he was sick. DH told her it was ok, no problem, drop him off. Now I have a sore throat. As soon as my effing throat stops burning, I am going to rip DH a new one. And if I get sick- I have asthma and a cold often turns into full blown bronchitis that lasts at least week, I am going to rip DH's EXDW a new one, and I don't give a f--- what the repercussions are. This is not the first time this happened. Last winter, SS was here, sick, and I got bronchitis so bad I was coughing up blood. I have told DH not have SS here when he is sick, and I am actually considering a trial separation right now.

My body is mine and I have the right to protect it. I felt bad about slapping dh, but it was a total knee jerk reaction on my part. I do not like my breasts, butt or nipples rubbed or pinched when we're not in an intimate setting. I enjoy hugs, kisses, hand holding and cuddling, you know, affection, but nipple pinching or breast grabbing doesn't make me feel loved or wanted. It makes me feel degraded and gross. It's my body, I should be able to protect it without being called abusive. I would never grab or treat my dh's body like that. He knows that I respect his personal space because I've never infringed upon it. Obviously my threat to break his fingers was empty and didn't work. I apologized and he accepted and apologized in turn for his behavior. Yesterday we had a lovely day spending time around the house, making dinner together, we even stole upstairs to our bedroom to have some alone time while ds was engrossed in minecraft. I think so many people faved that OP because they too know the feeling of having your bodily autonomy trampled on by someone who is supposed to respect and love us and it's not a nice feeling.

I understand OP was frustrated and her DH probably deserved to be slapped. But why, why, WHY are people applauding her for slapping him when if the tables were turned, you would be screaming he's an abuser, leave him, call the cops! So damn sick of the double standards in this world. If SHE was being annoying he wouldn't be "allowed" to slap her. WTF is the difference? And don't give me that BS about how women are weaker. This is 2014. Women aren't some meek gender. A slap from someone with a vagina can hurt just as bad as a slap from someone with a penis.

Don't feel bad about hating your kitchen floor...we once did a kitchen remodel and I hated everything about it. A WHOLE REMODEL and when it was almost done I suddenly realized I hated the whole thing. I was like WHAT WAS I THINKING??? It was too stark, too modern and cold. I tried to warm it up with paint and pictures and accessories but I hated it. Haaaaaated it. When we moved I was thrilled.

It's never good for children to be around miserable parents in bad marriages.

Why must they make dog poo bags that are see through. It's bad enough to be carrying a little bag of warm poo, but for it to be see through is even worse! I bought a big package of them that are black and gray. They were stacked side by side, and they looked opaque. But when I unwrapped them and opened one up, it was see through. Ugh.

When I met my xH, he was 24, living his is parents basement for free AND he was in the military. Too bad he wasn't paying his bills and spent all of his money on stupid things. He's so stupid when it comes to finances. Even though he's my ex...I take care of his money/bills. He gets an allowance to spend on whatever he wants, I get a portion for alimony/child support, the rest pays his bills and building a small savings account for DDs future.

I'm the OP who's BFs mom is overbearing. He actually is a great catch. He's a gentleman who proves that chivalry isn't dead, he treats me good, dotes on me, gives me all the affection I could ever want, does things for me (making dinners, house work, fixing things). He has an insanely high student loan payment (so does his brother, thats why they live at home). Just because someone doesn't have the money to live on their own right now (he lived on his own during college though) because of bills, doesn't make him a bad guy. He jumps when his mom wants him to because he feels he owes her for letting him stay there while he pays off his student loans. He's got 3yrs left on them. I love his mom, she's a wonderful woman, she's done things for me and I've done things for her...but she really just needs a man of her own. She's lonely and asks things of my BF because she knows he'll do it, she doesn't bother with his brother because he's lazy and fights with her so he doesn't have to do anything. I stayed over there last night, him and I did have sex this morning. If anyone thinks that the amount of money a person has is what makes then a good or bad catch, then they're shallow and clearly values people by how fat their pockets are. My BF pays all of his bills, on time. He doesn't make a lot, but it'd be a bad financial decision for him to live on his own...he'd end up going into default with his student loans. He has a good heart and tries his best to please everyone. I love him for who he is, not what he has.

Thought the kids were out when I brought in the lobsters DH and I were having for our anniversary dinner. I left to get the other groceries from the car and once I was back the 7 year olds had already named them and asking if we could keep them. Had to tell them I was only lobstersitting until tonight. I feel bad but I already have enough to do without comforting them when I tell them mom and dad will be eating Elsa and Sven.
