I hardly ever buy makeup. I don't know how to apply it. Heck, I don't even know how to style my hair!! My mom forbade that stuff till I was 18. Im not good at any of it. Good thing I have a son instead of a daughter! Lol.

I need to shake this bad mood I'm in. I'm so irritated and I even feel a bit angry. And there's no reason why. No argument with DH, kids are nice and quiet, just one of those things I guess. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

I have great hair, but it's not because I let it have it's way. If I let it be, I would look like a homeless person. I'm jealous of people with good hair and I really don't think they can understand the uphill struggle of looking good with "bad" hair. Mine is fine, straight, but not straight straight, more like scruffy straight, it's thinner on top so I have zero volume and I cannot grow it out. It breaks and gets all gross looking after a certain length. I also have a bad cowlick in my hairline and on top of my head. To top it off I have a small head for my body size so unless I want to look like a swollen tick I have to make it look full and volumized. It sucks. If you good hair, don't gloat, just say a little thank you to your superior hair genes.

I wish I was as smart as my colleague. She always seems to have the right opinion and quickly, and I think it makes me look bad sometimes.

My mother is being investigated for Ovarian Cancer. Based on what she has told me and what I have read on the internet (I know, bad place for medical advice) I think I'm about to get some very bad news. I feel like I have to prepare myself for the worst case scenario, yet at the same time, I am a big believer in don't worry until you have something to worry about. I scare myself because I am actually not worried, but curious to hear what she has.

Didn't really have time to make lunch this morning, but I managed to throw a banana, strawberries, cucumber slices, and cherry tomatoes into a bag with some pita and tabbouleh I had purchased pre-made. Not too bad!

I have awesome hair. Always have, never had a bad cut, fixes into cute updos, curls etc. My secret? I never fight with my hair. If I am trying to get it one way and it keeps going another-I just go with it. It's crazy, but I learned this long ago and it works for me.

Craigslist hug poster here. I deleted the ad already, but did receive 5 replies from all guys, I think. Two included selfies (not bad looking, either), one of which included his number, another guy wrote sincere note + hug, another included Winnie The Pooh hugging Tigger pic + hug, and last guy asked about going for cocktails and hug. I don't think I go through with any of them, but all in all surprisingly respectful. I will probably write a thank you reply, though.

My brother's birthday passed, and I didn't even text him. His wife posted on FB that he had pack surgery. I didn't even send a card. That's how I'm feeling. If you've pissed me off this bad, there's probably a reason, bro. Or, like two dozen reasons.

My kid cried at the table because I finally yelled at him to eat his dinner. I'm supposed to feel bad? I didn't start out yelling. Just. Eat. Your. Dinner!
