I want to write a letter to my 17 yr old self and say: appreciate your boobs. When you have DS, they will turn into saggy empty balloons. Appreciate the fact that you don't have to work for that hot body you always thought was fat. Buy clothes that will last you forever, since daddy is still paying for them. Choose better friends, not the ones the led you into that horrible lifestyle. Have confidence, dress up for 8am classes, be cute and happy. Don't hide behind your hair and think everyone hates you. Go to the monster balls at college instead of the he clubs downtown. Stay in college instead of dropping out. Go to that school 2 states away and enjoy yourself instead of staying home. Travel, since dad could have afforded it.... I regret not doing so many things. I wish I could change it, cause now I can't afford to do anything but work. But mostly I miss that "fat" 17 yr old body that required no exercise, just caffeine. Lol.

My best friend had to have an emergency c-section while delivering her first baby and a hysterectomy just hours after due to complications. I just want to hug her forever, because I knew she wanted more.

I stayed over at my BFs house last night. We had sex for a half an hour around 6pm, went to bed at 1am. Around 4am, he wakes me up by kissing me passionately. He rubbed his hands gently all over my body while still kissing, and worked his way to rubbing between my legs. We had sex for about 45 minutes, that's how long it took me to orgasm (it takes forever when I'm tired). He didn't orgasm, but I told him we could keep going. He said he woke up and just felt the need to make me orgasm. I'm not complaining. :)

I know all the reasons why my marriage won't last forever - we got married too young, we have since grown apart, I have changed and grown and he remains the same. We're both happy and good people and it's not fair to ask either of us to change. What I don't know is what to do about it. I won't tear my family apart when we are very good friends and get along fine. But I can't help but feel like we're both missing out on true love. He doesn't agree, he feels like he's found his true love and what I really want is someone to love him the way he deserves to be loved. It's just so depressing sometimes.

The fuck H. Why is it so damned difficult for you to put your phone down, turn off the TV, and pay attention to our SON. He doesn't last forever. I swear that YouTube video will be there when he's grown and gone, and who cares if it isn't?? You're never involved, but that's Ok "you work to support us", Bc money justifies not listening to a damned thing Ds says. You don't see it, but I see the hurt in his eyes when you ignore him. I see how he's gradually not talking to you anymore. You used to be his idol, and now you're just an Asshole taking up couch space.

To the PP about responding to your DH with "Yes, miss" when they call the DW "dude", that is too awesome. I think I'll use it on my younger DB too. He is forever calling me dude, and so does my DS. Fuckin' dude-calling siblings!

Has anyone become friends with their exes, you know - the ones you still love? Do you really cut them out of your life forever? I've tried cutting my ex out of my life, but I still love him, and though I know we'll never get back together (I don't want to), I can't imagine just not knowing him for the rest of my life; not ever talking to him again. Any thoughts?

I'm the other woman currently. It's long distance, so it's really mostly an emotional affair (we've had sex twice). I know that I should move on, and I have tried so many times, but the truth is that I am in love with him and life without him in it sucks. His marriage is over - they both know it - but he is going to stay because of the kids. It's not a happy situation for anyone. Never, ever thought I would end up like this. I tell him constantly that he needs to leave her, NOT to be with me - he would never move here - but because it's the right thing to do. I hate to be involved in this in any way, but it's taught me that love is not the picture-perfect forever-after that I thought it was in my youth.

I feel as it becomes more important to think before we speak, people are doing it less and less. Once you hit send on that text, it's out there. And not that the spoken word is any less potent but once you write it down and email, text or Facebook it it's out there. Someone else can take what you said in a moment of hurt or anger and ruin your life. Or because you sent it you can ruin your own life. Someone will forever have word for word proof of what it took you probably seconds to type.
