I am married, and so is he. And I've never cheated on my husband. But if I had the opportunity, I would have an affair with my boss in a heartbeat.

In today's episode of Menopause Chronicals, is it random breast pain or a heart attack?

I had a patient this week, who, until he had covid in January was a super healthy 45 year old. Didn't smoke or drink. Exercised regularly, etc. Since recovering from the virus, he's developed blood clots in his heart and recently had a splenic infarct. He reminds me so much of my husband. Talking to him and his wife this week broke my heart. They're so scared. People have no idea the shit this virus can do to a human body, especially the cardiovascular system.

He died omg I can’t believe you’re gone B. I regret not trying harder to get out to the show that year. Now I’ll never have the chance to see all of you like that, ever. I regret that and I can’t believe that’s all now, no more. My heart broke so much this morning. A lot of us mourn you B. You were so humble. You have no idea what you meant to so many did you. We love you B.

He said I look forward to getting to know you more during a Live class. This guy's energy is magnetic, incredibly kind and heart-centered soul, and musical genius. He plays instruments, facilitates lively conversations, and encourages us to play/act silly. Those are qualities I want to develop within myself. I've been told I'm a great facilaitor, but I would like to be more musical and have more play in my life. It feels weird to say that I have a crush on a teacher from an app, but I think I do. He seems like a real genuine, kind and wise soul.

Wow, that is like saying people who are depressed should just snap out of it. Hoarding is often an unusual attachment to everyday objects, so 'just get rid of that thing' is like saying 'just say goodbye forever to your dog'. It is heartbreaking for them to get rid of something that hasn't fulfilled it's purpose. If you want to understand the disease better, I recommend the book 'Stuff'. It isn't terribly technical, but gives some insight to what professionals where discovering not too many years ago. There is very little research around hoarding, compared to other mental disorders like OCD or addiction, but it is also far more complex.

I learned from my Dr that no matter what I do for my type 2 diabetes, I'll end up on insulin. I'm almost 40, diagnosed last year. I've been doing great with meds and eating better. I decided on weight loss surgery to help even more so that I can manage it without medication in the near future. I'm not on insulin. She said most likely in my 60s I'll need insulin, she said everyone does, because our organs are working extra hard to keep our bodies working like a normal persons, that by the time we're in our 60s our organs are tired they won't be able to function properly. Pancreas, heart, lungs.

All these confessions of mispronounced words reminds me of my hs sweetheart, who used the word humidity correctly but instead of saying humid he would say humidid. Lol

My pharmacy keeps fucking up my ADHD medication, it's late constantly by weeks and I have to phone them every couple of days...I checked the reviews and it's full of angry people who are not getting their meds on time...like people with serious heart conditions and shit. They keep brushing it off as if it's no big deal. In my case it's not, I'm not going to go psychotic because I run out of ADHD meds, I'm going to be tired and grumpy and need a coffee IV drip, but there are plenty of psychiatric meds out there that stopping suddenly can cause sudden severe suicidal ideation or psychosis. Fucking ridiculous.

What’s wrong with me: diabetes, iron deficiency, NASH and heart disease. I met my $2500 deductible in March and my $8800 out of pocket max on May 4th. Every year we’ve been paying off over $10k in medical bills till the end of the year, and this year will be no different. The light at the end of the tunnel? I go on Medicare and a new supplement on August 1st and all this BS should stop.
