My epic garden this year is going to have San Marzano tomatoes along with my normal varieties, staked and tied zucchini and cucumber plants (instead of letting them vine on the ground) I also have a round cuke hoop (made out of cow fence) so I can reach in and pic hanging cucumbers. It was awesome last year. I've got rhubarb and asparagus, I've got seeds for pumpkins and squash, beans and peas, radishes and bell peppers. I've got lettuce and spinach in my kitchen garden along with all my herbs, and I've ordered dwarf tomato seeds so I can have a year-round tomato plant... oh... and I have five pot plants going. I don't smoke it, but I do love low dose edibles. ... Also I'm inspired now to grow carrots. So that's what's happening in my epic garden? Anyone else?

DH got laid off on March 20. I continued working until March 24, when our state went on "shelter in place" so I'm working from home. DH is driving me CRAZY. He won't clean much at all. Even though I'm working, I still do my laundry and clean the kitchen a few times a week, simply since he won't unless I nag him to death. His idea of cleaning the bathroom is to clean the toilet and wipe out the sink. I'm ready to murder him. He only showers about every third day - GROSS> The worst part, though, is he wants SEX... seemingly every night. We're both 51. We both have health issues and major pain issues. With me working full time at home, AND do the laundry and the kitchen and everything else … I don't want anything to do with sex. Ugh.

I feel bad because that's me. DH and I were both working from home through all of this, but I and everyone I work with was laid off earlier this week. I hate it. I feel awful. I have sent out no less than 30 resumes. I have had 2 phone interviews already. One seems promising, but it still wouldn't start until after the whole COVID-19 thing is over. I have done a shit ton of yard work, painted a spot in the kitchen that needed to be done for a while, power washed my driveway, walkway and sidewalk, cleaned everything, etc. but now I am out of things to do. I can't go anywhere. I feel like a worthless piece of shit. Thanks for confirming that for me and assuring me that my spouse is probably thinking the same thing.

My roommate does some really annoying shit (such as half-assing the kitchen and only doing the dishes, not cleaning counters or sweeping even if it is visibly dirty). The thing she does that annoys the LIVING HELL out of me, is she'll keep food in the microwave if she's not done with it, instead of wrapping it up and putting it in the fridge. So when I have to use the microwave, I have to take her stupid fucking food out and put it back in. Recently I'll just leave her food out on the counter until she realizes it's sitting there. WHO DOES THAT?! Just put it in the fridge you lazy ass!! Sometimes she forgets it's there and it'll sitting rotting until the next morning!! Rant over.

I effin' HATE when DH cooks stuff on his own. He completely destroys the kitchen, uses every dish, and thinks he's doing me this huge favor. If you really want to do me a favor, DH, CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!!

Especially if you don’t have kids! Go ahead splurge on that new kitchen girlfriend. You can afford it! Like how I used to here Suze Orman say. P.S. I know this comment is going to irritate somebody somehow.

Every day I get angrier and angrier about the "leaders" of this planet, and the corporations whose ass they're all kissing. They don't even see regular people as human. We are completely expendable to them. Those old fuckers are all going to die before this planet sees true ruin, so they don't care what happens to us. Whether it's environmental ruin or eternal war or just plain old poverty that kills us, it's of less consequence to them than squashing a bug in their kitchen. I wish I believed in God, because I know they would be all be going straight to the ninth circle of hell.

My raging narcissist of a mil didn't get dh or his brother anything for Christmas. She did, though, make it a point to tell them about spending $300 on a gift for her neighbor, who visited her in her rehab facility. Gee, sorry, ya crazy bitch. Your one son couldn't take a month off without pay and travel across the country (again) to cater to you. And your other son couldn't miss the birth of his daughter to travel across the country. Maybe, next time, lay off the sauce and don't break your leg in the kitchen. Crazy alcoholic covert narcissistic bitch from hell, that woman. She's having surgery again next week and I hope she carks it. It would save her sons a lot of suffering.

My kitchen doesn't have a vent to the outside, so if I burn anything, it spreads throughout the house. I bought something called Zep Commercial Smoke Odor Eliminator spray from Home Depot. I also use activated charcoal bags (you can find them at Walmart and on Amazon) and put bowls of vinegar around.

Stupid me. A few days ago I preheated the oven to cook a pizza, totally forgetting I had take out pizza still in their boxes in the oven. I opened the oven door and some flames shot out. It's ok, I grabbed the sprayer from the sink and hosed it down. The kitchen/dining room filled with smoke (thankfully nowhere else), I inhaled quite a bit trying to open windows and get fans going plus trying to throw the boxes outside. The smoke smell won't go away. I boiled lemons, then it smells like lemon scented smoke. I washed everything with amonia/water mix, the next day rewashed everything with vinegar/water mix (including furniture, walls etc), washed all curtains, mopped the floors with vinegar, used a candle, Sprayed Ozium everywhere. Next is to try insense, scrub the walls and furniture down again. IDK what else to try. I've been so tired with a sore throat since it happened.
