My granddaughter lost two teeth! She's 5. I can't wait to see her gappy little smile! I love her so much.

It all started with people somehow being so fucking stupid that they thought fucking *rump would be a good idea for president. People have just gotten exponentially more nasty, vapid, and stupid since 2016. I really believe that. I think covid made it worse, but I really and truly believe that motherf*cker ruined everything. Nice job, morons that voted for him. Life in general has just gotten so much more shitty. For everyone. I suppose, however, that none of this would have happened if our educational system wasn't a tragic joke. Not blaming teachers. Republicans did this. They LOVE their uneducated people. They don't try to hide it. It's the idiots that vote for them. They are well aware.

I'm tired of students hitting me. For real. If you're thinking, "Why are you letting them hit you?" come down here and try to stop them. I'm not LETTING them do anything. This year's kindergarteners are DIFFERENT and I have never in ten years of teaching seen so much outrageous behavior. Some parents want to scream that it's because of masks or because the big bad teachers union kept the schools closed during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC- I swear some of these children are such a mess because they spent more time with THEIR PARENTS last year. I never say this but some of these folks need to PARENT THEIR CHILDREN. There are kids who will straight up say, "I don't want to!" if you ask them to participate in learning. Where did they get this idea that this is an acceptable way to speak to adults? I love kids. I just need to vent. I got punched, kicked, and slapped in the face today. If you know a teacher, hug a teacher! We are not okay!

I love it when little kids' teeth start looking all gappy because their heads are starting to outgrow their baby teeth. I just find it freaking adorable. Then when their baby teeth start to fall out? OMG knock me down with the cuteness.

I'm on a new mission to make a full wardrobe for DGD's barbie dolls. I would say I'm an intermediate sewer (sewist?) I guess. Spent ten bucks on a sewing pattern packet with an entire wardrobe of outfits. I have so much 'cabbage' (scrap fabric not big enough for a garment) and I'm pretty stoked to use a good bit of it up making barbie clothes. DGD loves clothes and I think she's gonna LOVE having lots of outfits for her dolls to play with.

I'm sad and I'm sort of angry at my DH. Our little dog is sick. He's got a heart condition and he gets worse if he gains weight. I mean, it will get worse regardless but weight gain exacerbates it. DH took him to the vet and he's gained 5lbs in 2 months. And I can't help but be upset at DH because he is constantly giving the dogs treats. We have one dog that needs to gain weight and one dog that can't gain weight. And he just gives treats to everybody. All the time. Pig ears and milk bones and bananas. The vet appointment was an eye opener for DH, but I've been telling him all along to lay off the treats and he didn't listen when I said it. I can't lose my little man one moment sooner than I absolutely have to. I love him so much I can't stand this.

I love that my son is old enough to appreciate my cooking. I am making read beans and rice today. He came into the kitchen from the yard and said that it smells so good!

I love that the thing that is causing Russia to want to enter peace talks is the crash of their currency overnight causing some of the disgusting rich pigs to worry about their money. Never mind all the lives that will be lost, the risk of nuclear catastrophe, it's all about that money, right? I swear, we need a war on the uber rich. That's the only war we'll ever need. Disgusting pigs willing to murder for the sake of stealing even more billions from the world.
