The only reason I keep my fb account is because I'm convinced that rolling my eyes burns calories. One of my friends just posted on fb about how everyone should rescue a pet instead of buying from a breeder. Never mind the fact that she has 2 purebred dogs that she purchased from a breeder and had flown in from Colorado.

I foster dogs. Right now, we have 3 fosters and one personal dog. We've had one of the fosters for 1.5 years and will probably have her until she dies. The other two we've had for 6 months. We are probably going to "foster fail" with one of them....BUT...the other dog has two potential adopters and both are great! I'm so excited for my little buddy to find his forever home!

Thinking of hiring a cleaning lady to come twice a month. This is why I work. Right? I can't handle my big-ass house. This is the biggest house I've ever lived in and we have three dogs and a cat. DD & DH try to help but I'm insane about this. The house is never clean enough and I can't relax until I've taken care of all the stupid shit. So essentially, I never relax. Ever. I think hiring some help might be a game-changer for me. It's never been even remotely in the budget before. But life is going pretty damn good right now. And here's me: can't relax and enjoy it because I can't keep up with the housecleaning. Yep. Think I'm going to hire some help.

I like dogs so much more than people.

Stayed up too late last night. FDH was up at 4am for work, my alarm goes off at 5am. The dogs got up with him and wouldn't go back to sleep. So tired. 2 hours down, 8 more to go until I'm home. Thinking about swapping dinner for sleep. And I'm on my period. #chocolate&wine

A friend wants me to dog sit for her. I love dogs so much and am happy to do it. But her dog isn't even two years old and is already fat and waddling. He looks like a much older dog! This upsets me. I know it's not my place to say anything, but it will be hard not to.

I hate dogs, but I have to admit that puppy's pretty cute.

My DH likes to make Valentine's Day "special" but I am honestly kind of over it. Ya know? I'd rather just crack a bottle of wine, rent a movie and hang out in our sweats and snuggle with the dogs.

I hate playing with kids, too. Heck, even when I was a kid I hated playing with kids. I was more interested in training the dogs to do tricks or catching bugs or reading books. Maybe that's part of why I'm CF, too.
