Went to my son's high school football game in Napa Friday night. I go to buy some popcorn and the lady helping me speaks to me in Spanish. It pissed me off! First of all I'm Hawaiian/Filipino. Second of all, we're in America! Speak English. I told her I'm not Mexican. She looked all confused and shocked. Ignorant bitch. I've had it with people assuming I'm Mexican.

President Obama is right: this school shooting business is all routine. Only in America would this sort of thing continue, and only in America would the students be on Twitter - DURING the shooting - "tweeting" their opinions. Lo, how the mighty have fallen!

DD16 spent the night at a friend's house Saturday night and went with her family to church Sunday morning. She was appalled that people actually believed what the preacher was saying. We don't subscribe to any organized religion- The preacher was saying that Africans are dying because of their sins and that only God can save America. She mentioned at the 'after-luncheon' that America was based on freedom of religion -and also freedom from religion- and everyone looked at her like she had two heads. She found the whole experience frustrating and kind of scary. It was a Baptist church, and there were a lot of kids from her school there. She was shocked that they were all actually buying it.

Oh god, quit complaining. Go to school as a witch or maybe a historical figure if you can't think of anything else. It's not corporate America's fault you're not creative. They are there to make money, not make your life easier. If you think any different you're delusional. If it's too much trouble don't dress up.

I can't get very upset about the Volkswagen diesel emission "scandal." 443,000 cars are under scrutiny in the U.S. There are 253 million cars in the United States. If you do the math, that's 0.2% of all cars in the U.S. that are in question (I'm assuming all of those 443,000 cars are still on the road). So...two-tenths of one percent of all the cars in the U.S. Meanwhile, keep filling those landfills with disposable diapers, America!

Trump still is perpetuating the lie that President Obama isn't an American citizen. He's a puke. People who agree with him are pukes.

I'm scared for our country because of who will become the next president. I don't like the idea of women's rights being taken away...and so many other issues that are important to me. Scared for our nation and what may happen to us as Americans if the right person isn't elected.

So, this post isn't meant to start a debate or anything but as a pro-life woman, you know what really makes me angry? Seeing those billboards all over town, mostly near community colleges and universities about how life starts at conception, heartbeat at 18 days, there is a God and it shows a picture of an infant. And of course those are sponsored by Pro Life of America. Yet, once those babies are born these pro-lifers are nowhere to be found to help out these women who really can't afford a child yet they convince them to keep them. There's also clinics that are ran by religious groups here that offer free pregnancy tests, I can only wonder what they tell these girls that are in a the midst of an unplanned pregnancy.

Seriously, there are four customers in this coffee shop and two employees, and we are ALL singing American Pie. I love this.

When they showed the picture of the dead Syrian toddler in Greece I cried because I thought about how many kids from Central America died like that in the desert and nobody ever found them to take a picture of their corpses.
