I don't care what you say. How a dog/child acts is a reflection of the owner/parent. Yes there are dog/children with certain personalities that make it a little difficult to deal with but even those dogs/children know how to act if raised correctly. No matter what age or personality, manners and respect can be taught. You just have to decide if you want to put forth the effort.

I can not stand when people allow their dogs to sit right beside you while you are eating and stare at you. We have some friends and every time they invite us over for dinner, their large dog sits inches from me panting on my leg while I attempt to eat. When I try to cut my food, pick up food with a fork he leans in and starts smelling my plate. It grosses me out and I can't eat. Some may say I am being dramatic but I can't eat while smelly dog breath is wafting over me and my food. I also get tired of when the animal is doing whatever it wants and the owner says oh he is just a dog. He is just a dog but they can be taught manners just like a child. I have dogs of my own and they have all been trained and have manners.

DH and I were walking our dogs and we saw a woman walking with about 5 kids. She was screaming "Fuck you!" repeatedly to the kids and they weren't even really doing anything! I feel so bad for kids like that. I thought my mom was harsh sometimes, but at least she never cussed me out when I was 5 or 6 years old.

I once left hot dogs and milk in the trunk of my car in July. Forgot about it for a week. Yeah, that dead body smell in my car was pretty hard to get rid of!

It hurts to see a friend of ours struggling so bad and in an abusive roommate situation and be unable to help. DH and I are barely paying our own bills. We've offered to let our friend stay with us to help her get back on her feet, but our complex doesn't allow dogs. She understandably doesn't want to part with her dog or have anyone foster it for the time being. I wish we could give her money, but we have none. Urg.

I didn't think I was being unreasobable, but I guess I just ask too much. I agreed to no more babies (we only have 1 child),and I take care of dhs two inside dogs even though I'm allergic. I work, too. When dh asked me what I want for mothers day, I replied an adult cat from the local shelter. We have a few outside cats, but they can't be caught or domesticated, so we just feed them and let them be. He flips out saying my that I can't have an inside cat... It's not like I'm asking for a new car or a baby or something drastic. Ugh. Whatever.

Why don't people who own dogs teach them not to jump all over people and scratch at them? It's so damn obnoxious. I get that your dog 'lives' here and not me, but TRAIN them to have manners. I hate visiting my friend G becuase her stupid dog (its' a big dog too) jumps on my, slobbers all over my hands and arms, begs for food and scratches up my legs. I have told her to get him some training before I visit again, or to keep him outside and she got annoyed. Now she has a puppy in addition to the big dog and it's even worse. She was ill so I went to visit her, despite my dislike of her dog. The puppy and the dog combination? HORRID. And I am an animal lover.

One of my dogs takes the opportunity to mark in my office anytime he can get to it. I have retrained him several times, but he always converts back. I just want to say-you ass, you are the reason we can't have a new house!!

My sil threatened to leave bil. One of the major reasons is the way he treats her and talks down to her. AGAIN, just today, on his FB page he's going on about how much he loves her even though she is a P.I.T.A. WHY. WHY can't he just say he loves her without the insult? Damn, dude ... even dogs learn. Keep it up and she's gone. Dummy.
