My chest hurts, my throat hurts, I'm blowing my nose left and right and my low back is sore. I told my husband that I feel like crap and he said he was sorry I was hurting and that he thought I was still beautiful, then he put a clean kleenex on my mouth and kissed me and said he loved me but he didn't want my "cooties". Made me laugh and feel better. I got really lucky with him.

I am 40 and just got my eye brows waxed yesterday for the first time. I only recently started trying to pluck them myself, but I didn't know what I was doing and plucked my arch right out! Ugh. I guess I thought that they would look sleek after the wax, but she just cleaned them up. I guess she can't magically grow hair where it doesn't exist. I envy women with the sleek, lovely brows.

I love iced tea. I'd rather drink it than anything else.

If you've been married a while, do you really think you're still "in love"? Or has it just become a habit to be partnered?

I seriously can't imagine what it must feel like to feel real love. In my life, it's always been a lie. I'm wired now to just not believe it at all. I don't really want to be alone, but the alternative seems so painful to me. Why welcome such chaos and pain into my life willingly?
