You think you have it bad. I live about a mile from Lake Travis - the lake where the Trump supporters had their big boat regatta (and a bunch of the boats sank). I went to the grocery store yesterday, and it was taken over by a bunch of semi-illiterate folks in sleeveless American flag shirts and Maga hats buying crappy beer.

I have this friend. She was the cutest, sweetest girl, blonde, blue-eyed all-American type. Very conservative, head-on-straight kinda gal. A few years ago she moved across the country, but she comes back regularly and we all hang out. I'm a little weirded out by her now. I know people change, but damn. She dyed her hair black, is completely covered in tattoos, bartends at a biker bar wearing clothes that leave little to the imagination and curses like a sailor. Just 100% opposite of what she used to be. I've distanced myself because the "new her" makes me uncomfortable. She married a biker and is pregnant. They don't know the sex yet but have chosen the name - whether it's a boy or girl, the child is going to be named after her favorite....whiskey. Cringe

But Trump could have not downplayed it. He could have spoken out against the governors who were opening bars and the people who were going to them. He could have told people that they need to stay home, and they need to wear a mask. But he didn't. Instead, he said," Let's re-open." He openly dismissed wearing a mask. It was going to just go away, remember? He is our leader. He is supposed to be the one who keeps Americans safe. Instead, he just flat out lied about the virus and it's numbers and completely ignored experts so the economy would suffer so much and he wouldn't look bad. He told American to go out, not wear a mask, etc. People listened to him because they falsely believe that he actually cares about their well being.

"You hate America." No, I dont. Believing that America is no longer the greatest country in the world does not mean I hate America. Just bc I don't buy into the American superiority complex, or bc I want to change things... We aren't #1, and we are loud, obnoxious, inconsiderate, and selfish. I do believe we need to change a lot of things about this country. Still doesn't mean I hate it.

This, as well as the fact that the US is full of selfish people. We don't have the same community minded mindset that most Asian and European countries have. We have a "my personal freedom matters and I don't care if that affects YOU" mindset. Let's face it, Americans are selfish. That's why we will not be able to end this as fast as other countries did. No one wants to actually do things to help others if there's nothing in it for them.

I confess I HATE Donald J Trump the President of the United States of America. He’s so fake. All he ever wanted was to be famous, he’s not serious about the job. And I resent him for that.

I had a dream about the future. Sometimes my dreams come true. I saw a map and a guy in a tall hat explained that China would eventually occupy the north American continent. There was a room full of people behind us. They were having a convention in which they discussed the success of already conquering the African continent and then taking over the Canadian government first and then the US government. The man in the hat said to beware the universities. I asked for an explanation and he handed me a huge red book but I couldn't read it. That was the end of the dream.

I find the term "cuck" as applied to leftists hilarious. I see conservatives as the biggest cucks ever. "Roll me over and spank me some more, rich man." They are so obsessed with their secret fantasy that they are the next Elon Musk or (lol) Trump, that they truly believe the American dream and are happy to let the billionaires and corporations of this world continue to take absolutely everything from them while they continue to work too many hours for fuck all money.

I can't wait for all the old white men in my company to retire. It's so demotivating to come to work to hear them bitch about how awful the protesting is and how great Trump is, etc. They're all a bunch of misogynistic twatheads who represent everything wrong with America.
