I suspect that both of our kids are Trumpublicans (LOVE that word btw!). Our son posts right wing nut shit on facebook all the time. I'd also bet that neither of them are even registered to vote (they're in their 40's). Their bio mom was on the dole all her life then decided that Dems were crazy and started spouting anti-everyone crap. I once told our son that if he didn't vote he doesn't have the right to bitch and that shut him up.

My confession is that I think my son might have voted for the cheeto. He's been spending a lot of time hanging out with one of his friends who's a trumpublican, and this weekend he came over and ranted a few conspiracy theories to me. I was so upset, I actually told him I was tired and wanted to go to bed and maybe he should go. It was 7pm. I will never ever ask him who he voted for. I don't want to know. I haven't told a single soul about this, it's too upsetting.

I'm really, really dreading Thanksgiving with my Trump-loving inlaws and family. I will NOT discuss politics but I'm prepared for a bunch of whining from them about how Socialism is going to overtake the country, etc.

Got my hair cut this morning and all three stylists are thrilled that Trump lost. Best comment of the week came from my stylist's 78-year-old mom. "That SOB is gonna have to be dragged out of the White House, so I think it should be pay-per-view. Everybody in the WORLD would watch and I bet it would erase the national debt. Hell, I bet it would end world hunger!" I laughed out loud (that's a good feeling, btw. Seems like I hadn't laughed much in the last few months).

I think it's hilarious that the trumpers are so butthurt, they're all leaving Facebook and Twitter for Parler. Apparently, they got cranky because of all the fact checking and needed a place to spread misinformation about the election. It's like the Breitbart version of social media. Maybe it'll make it easier for the FBI to track white domestic terrorists.

The good thing about social media is that all the hate the Trumpsters have spewed for the last 4 years is seared online forever. That means when I'm looking for an electrician to do work around the house, or a restaurant to hold or cater an event, or hiring for work, I will find it and not give you the job or our business. We re-did our bathroom about 8 years ago. We are getting ready to remodel our kitchen. I was going to use the same contractor but his FB page if full of pro-Trump rhetoric. He's not getting a call or the $60,000 job. The restaurant that welcomed participants of the Trump parade will never see us again or any of the events I plan (I do that as a volunteer for a couple organizations). A neighborhood FB page has a spreadsheet of all the local businesses that supported Trump.

I think Trump is trying to stop the counting until Trump officials can go and witness the counts, at which time the counting will resume. However, I'm sure if Trump could just stop the counting, he would. Kind of like how the 300,000 mail in ballots that are missing just happen to be from battleground states and Miami-Dade county. Total coincidence, I'm sure.

Holy fuck. If numbers stay like they are now in the states that haven't been called, Trump's going to win.

A fellow teacher, who is Latina, was run off the freeway today by a truck with flags and Trump stickers on it. Thank goodness she wasn't hurt, but she was scared to death. I have been afraid of these white nationalists coming to Oakland to make trouble. They are clearly already here. Please don't let Trump send the National Guard. They won't be coming to protect us.

I live in Austin. The Trump supporters were literally ramming cars with their obnoxious trucks.
