Here's the thing. People in the metaphysical world are generally all about peace, love and light. Cliche, I know, but it is. Talking about witches performing bindings - cool. Adding a desire to "finish him" - not cool. There is now a second post about it. If I wanted to hear about how much people hate the President, I'd be on the Current Events page. Please don't take this as a personal attack. It's just that ALL over the Internet, it doesn't matter what the subject, it is ALWAYS turned to DT. It could be cupcakes, hair, scary experiences...sigh.

Men mistreating nipples, or adoption debate hmm, I'll choose adoption. Look, I think this debate hinges on how the "back up plan" is phrased, interpreted, or perceived. One side hears "back up plan" like this, "I never want kids but if I feel like it later, I'll swing by Albania and pick one up." like a Mcdonalds drivethru. The other side hears "back up plan" like this, "I never want kids, but if some day I change my mind and children are my heart's desire, adoption is an option", like a sincere thing. I just think everyone is arguing about phrasing or perception. Yes, if it as callous as the first, no one would like it, and if it as sincere as the second, most would be ok with that. Again, it all depends on the attitude of the person saying it and or the perception of the person hearing it.

I will not raise grandchildren, under any circumstances. My children know this, and all of them are very diligent about birth control. They are 23, 27, and 29 with no children yet, and no desire for any.

Pffff! You don't get the hint.... or direct statement. The entire point is that I was looking for opposition. I said I had no desire to say outlandish things to bring it about on this page, but if I want to talk about what I've been doing, I will. You don't get to tell me what to post.

Im 99% sure the woman who was my best friend from 14- 22ish came into my store today. I'm 30 now and ducked out to avoid her. I didn't want to deal with the drama, she was quite toxic and I have no desire to have negative people in my life. But I feel kind of petty. Like am I also maybe embarrassed to work retail? It's a niche market with amazing benefits and right now is where I want to be.

Was reading about this. Saying "let me know if I can help" then puts the person in need of then basically asking a favor in the future. It's awkward and uncomfortable, and hardly the desire of those who really want to help. I don't need someone to just show up, but a more thoughtful inquiry would make a world of difference.

i've been really good lately with exercising, counting calories and portion control. I'm going on a week long cruise in a few weeks and i don't know how i'm gonna be able to keep up with my new healthy habits. i can still work out but I do like to to drink and i won't be able to weigh my foods or plug it into an app (no wi-fi). should i say to hell with it and have fun and get back on track when i get back or avoid drinking and try to eyeball portions as best as possible? i don't want to be miserable (it'll be hard abstaining when my friends are all drinking and eating to their hearts desire) but i don't want to undo everything either.

From a widow's point of view.....it was very hard losing my husband, devastating in fact. I felt like it really took a good two years for me to piece back my life together again. That all said I so love being independent. I was always the type to take care of myself, I always had a job and my own money. I always had savings and a desire to do things on my own. Not that I didn't love doing things with my husband, I did. But I loved having solitude when I could grab it. I downsized, I gave away a lot of belongings and got rid of things that once seemed important but no longer did. I went from a big four-bedroom house with a big property to a two bedroom condo with a terrace. I can walk to everything, I can do whatever I want to do. If I want quiet, I have quiet and peace at home. If I want to see people, I am right near downtown. I have friends and I have hobbies. marriage was a great experience, but like childbirth and grad school, I don't need to do it again.

I have no interest in having sex with DH anymore. I've talked about it, tried supplements and exercise and we've done date nights and back rubs, you name it . I just don't desire him anymore. I fake being interested just often enough that his complaints are limited but man, I truly don't know what to do anymore. We have four kids, aged 6 to 14. He's a great dad although he didn't help much with the kids when they were babies. I work part time, my field doesn't pay nearly as much as he does and I could never support four children on my salary alone if I left him. Thing is, I don't really want to leave him! He's a great friend, great parents and great provider. We have fun doing things together, we like talking to each other. I genuinely like him as a person, I just have absolutely no sexual feelings towards him whatsoever and it's going on five years now since I have really felt that way towards him. I feel guilty about it all the time. Sometimes I wonder if this is just life.

There is nothing I will do to satisfy my BF. He is never happy. I keep hearing what I should have/could have done to make whatever better. I'm done caring. I can follow his instuctions to the letter but it's never good enough. Even things you can't screw up. I still hear it would have better if you. I end up mad. I was raised that nobody needs to do anything for you so Thank the person, be gracious. Not him everything is a it would have been better if. I'm fed up with this crap! I have zero desire to do anything nice, helpful or thoughtful for someone who acts insulted that you didn't read his mind. I think he just enjoys being rude.
