I can't tell if I like being not stressed about money and not having the newest technology and really nice things or if I deep-down really want the nice stuff and don't care about the money. I do love that I will never have to worry about not having enough in an emergency, but sometimes not having really nice things like everyone else has is kind of depressing.

i have a few coworkers who are on the fitbit/weightwatchers/myfitnesspal bandwagon and that's cool, but it does make me wonder how we're the only animals on the planet that need technology or outside sources to regulate our eating and movement.

Maybe we should take this tribal argument to the parents in Fallujah who are giving birth to babies who have a 50% higher likelihood of birth defects (higher than survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki). Hey guys, this is all about ancient tribal warfare. Your babies are being born with extra limbs and their organs on the outside because history and because we're scared you might have bigger bombs than us even though we gave you that technology in the first place and because when it comes down to it, we're big fat racists who still think we rule the world even though China could put us in our place in about two seconds flat. Don't take it personally or anything, it's just human nature and despite our great wealth and education and lifestyles that seem like those of kings to you, we can't grow the fuck up and stop yelling "mommy, he hit me first!!!"

I sometimes, through work, meet people who have no idea how to use a computer when they really should do- it's 2015! My parents were commented the other day about the computers they used in the early 90s, and these are people from the bottom of the social ladder who don't even care for technology! (usual disclaimer, I'm not commenting on anything/anyone on here)

I'm in my late 40's and I really don't feel behind the times. Then again, in my line of work we use social networking, email, all that and have from its inception. I was getting into the work force in my early 20's, so while the internet didn't infiltrate things at that time, I was up to date on things as they came into vogue simply because my work uses all those things. Shrug. I just never felt 'out of touch' in that respect. I'm sure it's normal too, though, if the technology wasn't relevant to you on a day to day basis.

I want to confess something a friend told me that truly haunts me, but I'm worried that somehow she'll be a user here. I seriously doubt she is - she's not really hip with technology. I just don't want to sit with the information and also don't want to betray her trust.

We were told most mattresses don't flip over anymore that it's outdated technology. Hmmm who knows?

I applied for conference scholarship for a dynamic, interactive conference called Wisdom 2.0 that merges wisdom and technology. Please, please let me be selected!

Oh wow technology is amazing. I now have ads for inter racial dating site showing up on my screen.
