DGD’s estranged H recently posted a pic of his new gf and changed his Facebook status to ‘in a relationship’. He hasn’t sent $ to his wife or child in seven months, but needs to think about signing and returning the divorce papers DGD sent to him. He FaceTimed her a couple nights ago, then screamed that she was poisoning their son against him because he wasn’t interested. 1) his son is 20 months old (!) and 2) they haven’t seen each other in 10 months!

Oh, and when you call me up and bitch and moan about how bad business is and how you're so broke and overworked and oh woe is me.... and it's SO OBVIOUS that you're lying to me about your sales.... when you cry me a river about how there's just no business and the customers have gone and poor, poor you... all the while your freaking PUBLIC facebook page tells a monumentally different story about how packed your place is every weekend... yeah you can go fuck off. Dammit, I should have taken that auditing job because I hate lying fuckers and enjoy taking down thieves. Also, BTW... I KNOW YOU HAVE ILLEGAL EMPLOYEES FROM CAMBODIA you rat bastard. Volunteers, my lily-white ass. I hate you right in the face.

There's an ad on a local Facebook page from a man looking for help with his kids - cooking, cleaning, etc. Must be energetic, dependable, etc. I totally get needing help with your kids. But the gig is every other weekend, per his custody agreement. Seriously, Dude only has his kids 4 days a month, and he can't even handle that. Can't imagine why your divorced.

I'm part of a Facebook group and many of the members and I have been online friends for years. Every year we send out Xmas cards to each other and it's been fun receiving them in the mail, hanging them up through the season and enjoying seeing them. Well, this year fewer people were interested. I get it, cards and stamps cost money and it's time consuming to write something in each card. So only about 15 people wanted to exchange this year. So we all agreed it would be us 15. I went and got two boxes of cards and sent them out to 14 people. So far I've received none. I guess it's not the end of the world but I do feel disappointed. We all talked about this a month ago and said we would send them out right after Thanksgiving. Oh well, maybe that's why fewer do it every year.

People should be able to post about their gifts if they want to. The only reason why kids would know about what their cousins across the country got is if their parents tell them. "Oh look Kyle, your cousin Ben got an Xbox and they're showing it off on Facebook to make you feel bad." Then Kyle feels bad because he thinks the best thing he got was some pokemon cards. These kids wouldn't feel so bad about other people getting "better" gifts if their parents weren't the ones telling them about it and also putting it in their head that an Xbox is better than Pokemon cards. What I'm getting at is people shouldn't have to hide their joy because others aren't happy. The only one who puts value on what you and others get is YOU. DH got me a few new shirts for Xmas (lost weight, most of my clothes don't fit now), I put more value in those shirts for me, because I need them, than a friend who is getting a new 65" 4K tv.

Yes, 3 months off. She's on an official "leave of absence." which at our company can be for any reason at all (or no reason, as long as it's approved). She IS in Florida (photos on facebook and on her daughter's as well). As for money, she is financially comfortable so being off for 3 months doesn't matter. She mainly works for the medical insurance the company provides. As long as she pays the premium herself for the 3 months, she'll keep the insurance. And yeah.. It may be under FMLA because our company is large enough to qualify, but they ARE holding her job.

5 days off is nothing. THREE MONTHS OFF for someone who has only been at the job for 3 months is ridiculous. Nobody else in our department can take any time off over the holidays now, not even previously-approved vacation, because she's out. That is completely unacceptable. And I know she is at the beach in FL because it's all over her facebook about where she is and what she's doing. If she wants sympathy or for people to take her seriously, then she should stop bragging about it on social media. Yes, BRAGGING about how she got the time off to be in FL instead of suffering through the first bit of a midwestern winter.

Evidently the Orange One tweeted to his sheep during the impeachment inquiry today, asking that they keep him in prayer. A Facebook friend of mine posted that we need to keep 'our President' in prayer as he asks. Another friend commented "Psalm 109:8." I had to look it up of course, and the passage says "May his days be few and may another soon take his office." Best comment EVER!

I work in the medical field and am an older millennial. Some of my fellow millennials are good, but most are bad, unfortunately. They're immature, post insanely inappropriate stuff on Facebook (violating HIPAA), call in sick and then slip up and admit they had a hangover, quit by not showing up one day, hide in the bathroom to avoid tough cases, bash the boss on social media, take selfies in patient areas, etc. I'm talking about college educated grown ups. We deserve the criticism, just like boomers do for screwing up the world for this generation.

….and when it all goes south, your friend will be flabbergasted that it happened. I think I'm 'lucky' that I really don't trust people, and I don't fall for anything. I even keep scammers on the phone to mess with them. Once had a "Lieutenant" in the Marines who contacted me on facebook, too. It took weeks but the requests for money started. Of course, bitch that I am, I told him for two months that I had sent debit cards and money orders to him, when I hadn't. At the end of it I bragged to him that the scammer had been scammed. Time consuming? A bit. Worth it? Absolutely!
