It seems like behavior designed to get more of your attention. He wants to be the center all the time. You might say he gets plenty of attention, but it may be the wrong kind. Start regarding him as a person, not someone who has to be reprimanded constantly. What does he think about? What does he like? Does he tell you? How do his friends treat him? How does he treat them? Does he help you with simple chores, which would make him feel like he's contributing to the household and that his work is valuable? Let him help you fold laundry and talk to him about his dreams, life, etc., while you do it. Or sweep out the garage, or whatever. And stop the screaming, it does nothing to help the situation. Come at problems from a different direction. Tell him firmly that if he kicks the ball in the house, you're taking the ball away for a week and do it silently and with no conversation AT ALL. Bad actions have consequences. He'll learn.

I hate that he's still on my mind, and pops up in my dreams. It's been 20 years. And running into his mother, who told me I was the one that got away (he had told her this recently) didn't help. Glad he lives 16 hours away.I'm married so nothing can happen, but if I ever get divorced or widowed I'm for sure looking him up. I need closure either way!

Yup :) This is a really common way spirit communicates with us. A weird thought or picture in your head, and you go, "Whoa! Where the hell did that come from?" Most people can't outright see them, so they find other ways. Dreams, smells, insects, animals. Just because they're dead doesn't mean they don't care about us. I totally believe your friend stopped by to see you. You know, the more you talk to him, the more he'll "talk" to you.

I hate it when I dream of my first love, the one that got away. I do it about once every month or two. The dreams are so realistic and we are always still so in love in them. I'm always sad when I wake up. I'm happily married but I still do think of him alot, and I do think we will find our way back to each other one day.

Holy crap I just saw an ex BF on tv as Jennifer Garner's bodyguard. He was doing chauffeur work for mainly wealthy attorneys in Southern California, but he's mentioned he'd like to do private security for A List celebrities because he wanted to travel. He moved to New York to drive for Bill Gates family and I hadn't heard from him since. (Not that I cared, we separated amicably, we just went on with our lives) and when I saw him tonight I was happy for him. I hope he did find a wife as he did want a family eventually. I like to see people make their dreams come true.

Every antidepressant I've ever taken has made my dreams more vivid and weird.

I have a question for those of you who have taken Zoloft. Did any of you guys have very vivid dreams? My dreams were so vivid and quite scary and I stopped taking Zoloft 2 weeks ago but I'm still getting awful vivid dreams still. It caused awful severe headaches to the point some of them would manifest into a migraine.

I agree with mustangsally. Death dreams can mean a literal birth or rebirth/new beginnings. Maybe you are headed for a change in your life that could be mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual. Are there any big changes that you are aware of coming up in the near or distance future? I had death dreams right before and right after finding out I was pregnant. Maybe look at your connection with your brother and that may lead to the type of rebirth your dream is referring to. Not just sibling connection but maybe your feelings towards him, type of relationship or a number of other things.

They could just be stress/anxiety dreams. What's important is how they made you feel. Do you maybe need to reconnect with your brother? Do you have guilt or stress connected with him? Are you afraid something could break or be ruined in your life? I find that I have dreams like this when things are going well, and I'm afraid the bottom is going to drop out. Unless it's normal for you to have prophetic dreams, I wouldn't worry too much.
