And why shouldn't someone be proud of the fact that they make a lot of money? There's nothing wrong with that. I also don't see how Facebook is an inappropriate situation for that.

Humble bragging is not about accomplishments. It's about subtlety bragging about things in inappropriate situations. Like saying on Facebook, Ugh! 35%tax withholding sucks!! Its a way to say you make a lot of money without saying it.

I am so jealous of grumpy cat's owners. Not only is she totally adorable, but her owners are probably raking it in now. I've seen so many gripey comments on their Facebook page telling them to "get a job", but it's just pure jealousy. Who wouldn't like to be able to make that much money off a pet that they clearly love very much?

So you married my ex boyfriend and I see all of your cutesy pics of your kids and his together and all lovey dovey..but I know the truth. I know his are ungrateful brats and what you are having to deal with. Go ahead and set up your fake facebook world but I know the truth!

I know it's pathetic, immature and it makes me the smaller person, because most people have gotten over what happened to them in high school, but I haven't. I had a look at the Facebook profiles of all the bitches that treated me like crap, and I'm prettier and living a more exciting, interesting life than every single one of them. I hadn't really thought of any of them in a long time (high school was shit for me for many reasons and the other kids was only one of them), and they probably don't even remember the mousy kid they used to torment constantly, but I remember.

Here's the greatest lesson in humility and charity: how about you pay for someone's groceries/donate to a cause/help a stranger in an emergency/etc. and NOT post about how it changed YOUR life on Facebook?

Really disappointed in my friend. We were good friends. He called me his best friend once. He moved here from Canada as a child. Lived here for over 16 years. Up and left one day out of the blue, went back to Canada. Now I see him on Facebook, bashing the US all the time. He never seemed unhappy here at all. He had many friends here, school, a job, this country gave him and his family quite a lot. I don't understand why he is saying the things he does. He seems to be so hateful toward this country and our people. I hate to do it, but I'm guessing a deletion is in the future. What happened to us? I used to look forward to seeing him everyday. He was such a bright spot in my day. You don't know how much seeing his face just made my day, how much we talked, laughed... I just don't get it.

A bunch of my Facebook friends are all freaking out that there will be a Pitch Perfect sequel. I thought the movie was kinda lame. Basically just Bring It On in a different setting. Plus the main chick in the movie was/is annoying.

If I remember, there is a Facebook app called Social Fixer where you can filter out posted that contain certain words. Might help with the spoiler situation.

Ok, I read a while ago that there was a way to block certain things from your facebook newsfeed. Like photos of babies or cats or whatever. Anybody know away to block all posts about a particular TV show? I live in a different time zone than two of my FB friends and they are almost constantly posting spoilers or reactions to episodes I haven't had a chance to see yet. I don't want to de-friend or block them, I just don't want anything given away before I get a chance to watch it. I've mentioned several times in the past that shows air later here and for a while the spoilers stop but it doesn't take long for them start up again.
