I took my new profile picture selfie when I was pooping on my toilet. I was on my phone and accidentally opened the camera, tried to exit and hit the reverse camera, then I caught how damn good I looked and took the cutest picture of myself to date. It got 15+ likes on facebook (thats a lot for me okay?) No one knows my secret.

I think Facebook is fun and great for lots of reasons. However I do find it strange when someone posts multiple times throughout the day. Every day.

So, my uncle goes on about how kids don't need that much affection or attention. When my dad would come to give me a hug or my aunt would praise my cousin, my uncle chimed in. Now that he has a kid EVERYONE has to praise his daughter or get the second degree. I once said no to going to her kindergarten graduation because I had work. Oh man, the guilt trips. He recently Facebook tagged me in a picture of his daughter. Why? No idea. Do I care? No. She is a cute kid but I don't think tagging me in a picture of her makes any sense.

Ok, this pisses me off so much. So I'm in this local facebook group for my city about getting help and support. I post about going back to work soon and ask a question about something childcare related and some lady goes and compares my life with hers and says that at least I have the income of my dh so if I miss work for whatever reason due to having kids and daycare issues its no big deal cause it's not like we'd miss the money compared to her when she misses work cause she's a single mom and that I need to be grateful for my dh paycheck. That's not my fault that you're a single mom and that you miss work. Me missing work would mean that we would be out that money for a days worth of work. I think I should leave the group cause I feel like I get snubbed because I'm not single and struggling mom like some of the other women are and because dh makes decent money. Seriously, she was just being a B about it.

I keep seeing some ladies on Facebook posting articles that are anti-Disney princesses and about raising feminists. I roll my eyes every time I see them. I have no issues with raising a strong, independent daughter...however I think you can still do that while letting your child like Disney and/or fairy tales. I think people can get too uptight about that stuff.

A friend posts on her Facebook about how military children make such a sacrifice, by being military children. OK, I respect that a little, but you know what, they don't make any sacrifices, they are born into that (well some) but her kids did - it's not like they made any willing sacrifices. Most kids are put into that situation without any choice, they didn't make the sacrifice. Response post bash all you want - not saying they don't go thru harder times - my dad sure did - but it's not like they wake up one day and make the choice to go thru it and enlist themselves. I'm not going to lavish a bunch of children with some sort of praise and honor for just being military children. They aren't making an actual sacrifice.

I am doing a huge overhaul of my diet and lifestyle right now. So far, no booze for over three weeks. No junk food. Lots of fresh healthy meals, lots of vegan options. back to running every other day, cutting stress out of my life, getting more sleep and making time for quality things. Now if I could just get rid of my reality TV addiction and Facebook!

If I say no to your friend request, I'm afraid I'm just going to find it creepy if you "follow me" on Facebook. I said no for a reason, dude.

I did something out of character yesterday. I'm tired of keeping my mouth shut and being badmouthed all over town. While with dh I paid the majority of bills, cooked, cleaned , basically did everything for my bios and steps while dh allowed his kids to go beyond disrespecting me and bios. They've stolen from us, broken our belongings, screamed in our faces to the point we either locked ourselves in a room or left the house during their parenting time. There were incidents of me being tripped, pushed down the stairs and broken fingers from drawers being slammed on my hand. The last straw was Dss hitting my dd11 in the face with trash can breaking her nose then jumped on her punching her everywhere. Her entire face was purple from bruising, her little body bruised all over. I sent my bios to their dads, not letting dh know I was also leaving. I moved all my kids things 1st. Dh assumed I took I took them to their dads to live permanently. I took vacation time, pretended to be working and prepared our old house, moved my things a little at a time, separated my savings and income, took him off life insurance. He and steps will be off my health insurance effective January 1st. I moved myself and my remaining belongings out of dh's house and into my former home while dh and step kids were camping in September. My kids and I have been living there in peace ever since. He has been bad mouthing me saying I hated him having kids, didn't accept them and didn't act as a mom to them even though I did everything and they have a mom. Yesterday I emailed copies of the police reports, court docs, pics of dd's face, my broken fingers, items that were destroyed and the restraining order from dss assaulting dd to their friends and family. I also messaged it to dh, step kids, their family members, friends facebooks. I also put put screenshots of texts I found showing he cheated, not me and threats he's sent me since I moved. I put a lot of detailed stories of all that was done to us in that house. The truth is out there. He's been calling and sending some scary messages since last night. I'm waiting for dh to retaliate. The messages get angrier as he's being contacted by more and more people I sent this all too. I'm scared of him hurting me, but I don't regret it.

My sister married rich. She spends a LOT of time shopping and decorating the house. She gets tired of her decor scheme after about a year and then totally redecorates the house. She is on Pinterest all the time and Facebook. I think she's bored. She's always asking me to come visit because the kids are at college and she's lonely. I work so I don't have all the time she has, nor do we have the money. The last house they bought is probably 6,000 square feet. They have rooms they never use, she just decorates and redecorates them. As beautiful as her life appears on the outside, I think she's incredibly lonely and lacking purpose. She could do a lot of good with her money and brains but she chooses to just sit in her house. It's depressing seeing her.
