So, I have been dating this great guy for over a year now. I love him and we are moving in together next week. I am happy with him but recently started talking to a friend of mine. This guy has always been nice but we have both been really busy. I mentioned my relationship and he gets really sad and says he is in love with me. I tell him that while I am flattered, I really love my boyfriend. He gets really angry and started bringing up stuff from back in high school that we talked about when we were kids such as my mom's drug use and my shame because we didn't have money. I kept my distance from him after that but we are Facebook friends. So, he goes on a rant about being "friend zoned" and "used" (for what? I never asked him for a damn thing.) Finally, I got so pissed I posted back that I never led him on and that he brought up disgusting things about me and that he acted like he was entitled to me even though I am dating a real man who doesn't whine when someone doesn't like him. I unfriended him and left it at that. Now, the creep is sending roses to my job and trying to apologize and offered to take me out to a concert. Um, no fucking way.

I need advice. Basically, I live far away from family. Really, in another country. I have a relative who calls sometimes but will text me or call that he has been in an accident. I get worried and ask if he he is ok only to get him laughing and saying he was kidding. The reason why that is not funny and I get upset is that I am in another country which means I feel isolated from everyone so if something bad happens at home, I feel helpless so when he does that it annoys me. Second, I told him before it bothers me and he won't stop. He did it once and he actually was in an accident but I told him I didn't care because I thought it was another joke only to have my mom call me up screaming about how I didn't care.He has been disrespectful, entitled and a real jerk to others and I have cut him off from communication. I am thinking of changing my number and blocking him from facebook. There are talks of some of my relatives coming here on a visit and he wants to come but because there is so much animosity between us, I would rather him stay somewhere else. My family thinks I should let a lot of his drama go and let him stay with me but I don't want to. What should I do?

Someone I went to school with just posted on facebook the new car they have bought, (not leased/had mummy and daddy buy it like most of my ex-school 'friends'). I'm saving for a house myself and think a new car is a bit of an extravagent purchase, especially for a low earner, but I am very very jealous.

I miss my friend. We've know each other all our lives and we had been growing apart for various reasons. Finally, she unfriended me on facebook and our mutual friends that were my friends and she never responded to my calls/emails/texts. I still do not the know the reason to this day but I have my suspicion why, and it is something I can not help. But I miss her. I hope she is well.

I find the "follow" feature on Facebook weird. Anyone else think this? I maybe get it if you're a sports persona or something but usually you would have some sort of fan page for people to like. Otherwise it seems like you'd just "friend" someone and it's weird to just follow what they're doing. Maybe it's just cos I have someone I've never met following me and I didn't realise they have been for a while, then they tried to friend me. I have never met this person and it seems they follow a lot of women who are dressed quite revealingly in their profile pics...oddly enough mine is just a headshot and I have sunglasses covering most of my face.

I deactivated Facebook over a week ago. All I used it for was destructive self-comparison and mindless screen time. I haven't missed it besides keeping up with companies/events I like. I spend (not as much) time on Instagram where I'm connected to less people.

Unfortunately, my friend who used to be fat, has turned into a fat person hater. She wanted to lose weight so badly that she got "weight loss surgery." Now, she constantly checks in when she's at the gym on Facebook, shows plenty of selfies, and apparently, she thinks everyone needs to get off Facebook and get like her. She posted such a status last night, and I wanted to bitch her ass out for it, but I chose to unfollow her and will eventually unfriend her. I am still fat, and she has distanced herself from me anyway (i.e., not really checking in with me, never sending a birthday card, though I have sent them to her, etc.), so perhaps the friendship was over a while ago. I am happy for her, and I have supported her through her trials and errors, when she was struggling with her weigh before her surgery, when she was going through chronic pain and illness, through her own heartbreak and family drama, but she can't even send me a birthday card and posts passive-aggressive Facebook statuses to the tune of "FATTY, YOU NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT AND BE LIKE ME!!!"? GIRL, BYE. HEAR THIS PEOPLE - BODY/LIFESTYLE SHAMING IS NEVER GOOD, especially when one has been the fat girl before. Shame on HER.

Do us all a favor - if you have ugly feet, please don't post pictures of them on Facebook.
